Big game tomorrow then, both sides will be fancying three points.

Not likely to be a thriller but we are long overdue a win and this is as good an opportunity we are going to get to get it. Rotherham will be confident of winning after a decent midweek win.

We'll lose because Rotherham will want it more. Apparently our performance at Wolves was an improvement on the one at Watford, but let's be perfectly honest, that wasn't particuarly hard to achieve.

0-1.

As our game at Altrincham was called off I thought I would head over to the Valley this afternoon. Any Charlton fans got any idea of the best place to watch the game in terms of view/atmosphere? Not been before so thought id see if anyone knows the best place to go.

The atmosphere is generally crap at our place but the North Upper is the best you're going to get in that respect.

In terms of view, you can't go wrong with the West upper in my opinion although there will probably be no atmosphere whatsoever.

Same mate.

At the point where I just don't care anymore, have no plans to go to any other away games and to be quite honest, am in two minds about bothering with the remaining home games. It is thoroughly depressing and a massive stain on my weekend to go in the freezing cold to watch 11 absolute wasters who couldn't give a shit.

I have far better things I could be doing on a Saturday.

1 win in 16 and none in our last 11.

Absolutely disgraceful.

Honestly, we could play a 1FF eleven and still not win. Truly one of the worst Charlton sides I have ever seen.

Then don't fucking go then. We don't need fickle fans like you anywhere near the club, we need positivity, not negativity.

But what use is booing at the team going to do? Nothing. You stick with a club through thick and thin, not when you can be arsed to or not.

Fickle :fl:

Positivity? Tell me what positives I can take from the last 3 months then. You're fucking deluded if you think there are any.

We've not lost in 2 games, we've actually scored. One Luzon gets the striker in on Monday and once he gets the team playing better then judge everything. Things need time to work, they can't happen instantly. Or are you only happy if we win every game by hammering the opposition 4 or 5 nil?

We won't be anywhere near the relegation places come the end of the season if we keep playing the way we did last Saturday and today.

Seriously?

I asked you to provide me the positives from the last 3 months and that's what you come up with? I think you've pretty much made my point for me.

What about one win in 16? No win in 11? No home win since October? Our first goal in 5 league games? Regularly conceding last minute goals, Ipswich, Blackpool, Rotherham etc? A 5-0 hammering? That's just on field problems off the top of my head. Haven't even started on the Peeters sacking and his subsequent interview that was all too similar to Chris Powell's and Alex Dyer's, the appointment of Luzon and the outright lies from the club to the fans.

I've stuck with Charlton through some shit times, but I always felt I was getting something in return, effort, passion and honesty. All three of those are lacking from both this current board and the players. As each week passes we are being pulled closer and closer to the relegation zone, a point here and there is not going to be enough to keep us up when those below us keep nicking wins.

By the way, today was not a good performance against a poor Rotherham side.

Got home about an hour ago. Nice ground and thanks for the advice about going in the North Upper, thought the atmosphere was ok given that you seem in poor form. The view looking down from behind the goal I thought was good and as it was high it meant the view of the other end wasn't too bad.

I thought a draw was a fair result overall. First half was poor and apart from both sides hitting the post not a lot happened, looked to me like 2 teams who were set up not to lose rather than to win the game. 2nd half got better as it went on, although surely Charlton fans have to look at it as 2 points dropped after going ahead with less than 10 minutes left.

Good luck for the rest of the season!

Yep, you would expect to hold on to a lead for 7 minutes but we have this uncanny knack of gifting the opposition points in the dying moments.

Glad you enjoyed your visit to The Valley, just a shame it isn't more of a happier place at the moment.

Happy with that. Both teams had chances but was always confident we'd score. Could be a big point with Millwall winning.
