Once a c***, always a c***.

Bloody good goalkeeper though.

What a hero, gutted to see him go! Not the best goalkeeper in my supporting lifetime (I'm just about old enough to remember Ian Feuer and Kelvin Davis), but certainly the longest serving quality one and so reliable in such a dark period of our history. If he was taller he would have played at a higher level, I'm sure of that. Replacing him will be a huge challenge.

To start on a negative, I think this season has been a season too far for him and its probably right that he moves on. I was not impressed with the way Peterborough acted, at the worst possible time on transfer deadline day trying to force a move to happen when clearly we had no backup.

However, the word legend is overused in sport, but 297 games over 6 years, probably as many points saved in that time, a championship medal. A constant thorn in the side of opposition teams.

Wash that mouth out vanni!

Regardless of how good he was and he was bloody good(especially against us it seemed) I'd never ever want him in the amber and black, just wrong on every level.

Ah come on, I'd have had Mackail-Smith in a flash back in the day.

The only ex scum I ever wanted to join us, which says a lot.
I was going to offer a like then Scott Rendell leaped forward to confound me - but then it was more complicated with him.

Up there with Fred Else in the great keepers that I have been proud to see over the years - both under 6 ft.
