Jose should offer up that one in his next press conference.
oh please. When Barnet tuned up at your ground in League 2 days (I was there) the atmosphere was shit. It's hard when you're such a big club (Without sounding big headed) and a small teams turn to generate a buzz around the ground. I'm not saying it's the way it should be but it is....every ground in the country is as bad as ours was yesterday when a small team no ones ever heard of turns up.

As I said in another thread you're fans were very loud but a lot of what was being sung I've heard from pretty much every other team bar 5/6 (Chelsea/Arsenal/Man Utd/City/West Ham/Liverpool). It's sad to hear supporters singing Everywhere We Go. The originality has gone.

I don't think I've heard another club have a version of our most popular / common chant about minus 17, or our usual corner kick Boscombe efforts.

Obviously there's plenty of 'stock' chants in our locker as well as with every club. i would guess chelsea are no exception there but I can't say! But surely, whilst not ideal, its better than silence?

I understand you're example of Barnet, if you mean THAT infamous late December defeat, i would say that yesterday wasn't the lowest point in chelsea club history with the ground a fraction full, as that day was for us. There's 40000 odd sellout and it only takes a few to make a little effort. Without wishing to sound condescending, it's probably obvious to you thay Chelsea players are struggling for motivation, it becomes dangerous when a feedback loop of disinterest is created between the stands and the pitch. A few hours on the beer can solve that

If the cabbie Chelsea fan was right and it's like that every home game, then the tinpot-ness of the opposition can't be the problem every week.

And no, not every ground is like it thank god. Anfield as suggested above wasn't much better though.

I wish Jose well because let's face it he's good to have around. A bit of January fresh blood and a sprinkle of hungry youth?

The cabbie isn't far off....when we have local derbies and big European nights the place is rocking.

We'll be back...when? I don't know. If we can't sort it out with this shower of shit we have now I'm sure Roman will throw the cheque book at it....Mourinho or no Mourinho. It's quite sad.
