Chelsea's gameplan is clear. Sit back, soak up the pressure, let United have the ball and nick a goal on the counter. Half way through and it's worked perfectly, hard to argue with that. We need to create more with our possession though. We had 63% of it in that first half and we didn't create much danger at all.

Falcaos been caught out a few times in midfield, wouldnt be surpised to see him taken off quite early in the second half. We have dominated play but created no chances so not something to brag out. Need to be more inventive in the final half but I believe we will get at least a couple of clear opportunities, just hope we can take them.

John Terry doing Mr. Falcao on the pitch while Mrs. Falcao off the pitch.

Jesus, Matic is an absolute tank. He's shrugging Fellaini off the ball with ease.

Most predictable game of the season. Jose would do anything to suck the life of a game. We did very well considering our injuries.

If United had one of Blind or Carrick fit I don't think the mourinho game plan would have worked but they didn't and it did. Shaw and Mcnair big positives for Van Gaal though and I think it will be these two teams battling it out at the top next season.

Was a decent attempt at a dive I thought at least he made sure there was contact shame it was right in front of the ref. Was a textbook Chelsea performance but efficient and job done. Alot of positives to take but hard to break down any side sitting back never mind the quality of Chelsea. Hopefully can get back to winning ways next week as still looking over our shoulders for Liverpool but a tricky enough run in, Everton, West Brom, Palace, Arsenal and Hull. I hope WBA will be safe by then but Hull away last game of the season with them fighting for survival I wouldnt want to be fighting.

29% possession at home, unbelievable from the champions elect. This United team are hardly a peak Barcelona are they.

I might be talking bollocks, but was Matic originally let go from Chelsea because he wasn't deemed strong enough?

Watching him play these days, it would make sense. Smaller players, such as Messi, Sterling and Hazard have a way of protecting the ball / positioning their body to counter their weight disadvantage. That Matic often looks an absolute beast could stem from him growing up with that manner of play, and then adding 10 / 15kg of muscle, not dissimilar to a Zidane or Figo. He has a physical dominance on the football pitch that players like Fellaini, Huddlestone or Heskey, who were probably never small, just don't.

JoMo absolutely schooling LVG and Man Yoo there tbh. You don't need possession of the ball to win games. What a joy it was watching him kick the fuck off after seeing 3 of his players going forward  Legend.

Chelsea played it smart and nullified us, the possession stats mean nothing because we did nothing with it.

Falcao is a sad sight. It's like watching Ricky Hatton going out they way he did.

Chelsea did what Jose wanted and it ultimatley got them the result. There can always be analysis and analysis but that is the long and short of it. I like winning football but it is close to being a little bit boring. Up to the other team to beat them though and United didn't create enough with all the possession they had, most of that down to Chelsea, their shape and their players ability. Matic and Ivanovic are big hard Serbian bastards- fair play. What United do in the transfer market and the training ground this summer will determine if they can turn their possession in games like today into better scoring opportunities. And for me that would still involve putting the big afro headed dope on the bench and getting another slick passing, fleet footed midfielder.

Hazard MOM, best player in the league and possible future world player of the year.

Am I surprised by this result? The answer is no.

'No sense of command'chester United have proven once again that they rely on dirty tactics and disgraceful diving to get something out of a game. How many of their recent results have been down to such disgusting play? Would they still be another struggling mid table team like last season if it weren't for this awful show of sportsmanship?

My question to United 'fans' is this. Why do you get so much enjoyment out of ruining the integrity of this game? Is it a bit like poker? Where bluffing to get a result is far more satisfying than earning it legitimately for you?

Absolutely disgusting. I'd be ashamed to be a United 'fan'.

We played better than I expected to without Carrick and with Herrera out of position. We created enough openings in comparison to Chelsea to warrant at least a point but with Rooney in midfield we were toothless in their box. I thought Falcao was fouled in the build up to their goal but the officials have always been against us so nothing new there.

McNair and Shaw were both positives. Shaw especially, hopefully he finishes the season strongly.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

He doesn't just 'leave a foot in' he actually swings his leg to make contact. Surely that's a kick off-the-ball and technically violent conduct?

Nice to see Rooney screaming in the refs face again though. Apparently he's claimed he didn't even see it! So you just get in the refs face for shits and giggles now?

Steven Howard's interpretation is:

'Hererra tumbled in the box only for ref Dean to come riding to the rescue. Perhaps the famous conspiracy against Chelsea is over!'

He gets paid for this you know...
