I'll be honest I will be very disappointed if we don't win this. I often go into away games thinking I'd take a draw but this isn't one of them. Glad we have put some more forwards on now, Stockley was sounding very isolated.

Well, that was probably the worst 90 minutes of 'football' from so called professional footballers that I have seen in many a moon. In fact it was a perfect example of one touch football - the one touch being a hoof, often with the ball ending up out of play, from both sides. I wonder what the hell goes on in training every day if that's the end product.
I know that the pitch was deadful, not much more than a pudding, and yes it was difficult to play on, but really, is that the best the pro players can produce?
As for McNulty, a mare doesn't even begin to describe it.

Still was saying the pitch was absolutely terrible so not conducive passing football.

Did sound like McNulty was having a mare, as a bigger guy I reckon if he isn't sure of his footing it probably puts him off his game more than others. Probably making excuses for him but hes allowed the odd bad game.

Truly dour game of football on a truly awful pitch. Oh well.

That's the first game I've ever been to where the home fans didn't once even attempt to start a single song. I'm not even exaggerating, it was bizarre.
