Well we've had a nice little break and the players have all been on holiday ... hope we come back ready to win again :)

We were bloomin' awful at the Ricoh earlier in the season, surely we can at least manage to score and keep putting pressure on the playoffs....

Hopeful we can get something here, you looked poor at the Ricoh and had been on a bad run until the last two games.

We seem to be running out of steam in the last 30 minutes of games at the moment so need to grab an early advantage. If its level with 30 minutes remaining I'd fancy you to win.

Having got one point from the last two home games, this is a must win. Were improving. But we could do with one more away win...

They sell beer in the ground. I am happy.

You've not tried it yet!

I'm not in the habit of buying the keg stuff (we have a very nice local real ale on sale in the home end) you will have to put up with.

Ah don't worry, I was drinking the equivalent of piss last night at the Ricoh. £4 as well...

It'll not cost you that much at least.

Seriously though, the Derby Tup is a fine boozer and five mins walk up Sheffield Road from the away end. Feel free to contribute to our coffers though if you must - it also means i can get to the bar quicker.

I'd imagine our coach will stop off in the town centre. Any good pubs there?

What are you after? Real ale fare? If so, try The Market, The White Swan, The Rutland. Out of the 3 The Market is the other side of town, but to be honest, it's a small town!

As spireite_uk said for Real Ale & the Chesterfield Arms on Newbold Road is good as well as being roughly on the way to the ground. There are two Wetherspoons and several other boozers of varying quality in addition. If you can't find a pub in the town centre you'd be walking round with your eyes shut.

Sounds good to me!

What is the max allocation for Saturday?

Away end holds just over 2000. How many do you reckon you'll bring?
Would have said 800 after Tuesday's game, but we have already sold over 900. If there is pay on the gate, I would say up to 1500.

Good. I wasn't expecting more than a thousand or so.

Potentially. I didn't see us taking more than 800 considering our recent form and followings. No more than 1500.

I don't feel we deserved to lose that ,buty we must learn to fucking defend at some point. We're so lacking of pace at the back. All 3 goals we conceded were poor!

Mowbray has brought in attacking football ,he's a godsend. We've had more shots on goal today than in Pressleys whole reign.all his three games we have looked a totally different team, going forward and attacking with numbers forward.
Scoring goals will keep us up, if we had stayed with that incompetant Scottish clown we would have definately gone down.
Why oh why didnt they sack him after losing at home to Worcester at the start of January, if Mowbray could have come in then we might be near the playoffs. The damage Pressley has caused need a month at least to repair, and we could still go down. Mowbray came in too late for this season

Great win. Police raiding the coaches for the first time in years. Causing a few problems.

Was that attacking football? Counter-attacking at best.

Counter attack is a form of attack is it not?

Better than Pressley going backwards and sideways for 90 minutes, having 0 shots and then claiming we were amazing and dominated.

We were in control for the vast majority of the match, Cov forced mistakes, broke away three times and punished us.

Jeez, we were wank today.

Disagree. We played some pretty decent stuff at times (as did Coventry to be fair) but 2 individual cock-ups (if not 3) have really done for us.

Jones was struggling so wasn't it surprising when he came off but I think it was a mistake from Cook to bring on Humphreys, it may sound harsh but he really is past it and offers nothing when on the pitch but saying that the bench looked pretty weak today and there wasn't too many options for us. Evatt as well looks like a player at the back-end of his career, too many mistakes coming from him and we have to look to get in a replacement for next season IMO.

It's frustrating that just when we look when we could get a good run going we go and fuck it up and we'll probably finish mid-table but after the disaster the last time we were here, i'll happily take that.

I wasn't there today but one thing I've noticed since Pressley got the sack is that Fleck has improved massively. Was he any good today?
