I am f***ing livid.

Think it's safe to say any interest we had in the playoffs has been ceded with the sale of Doyle ... probably deliberately. Let's see how far Dave Allen's money gets him with shit performances like that and attendances going to tank.

Can't see where our next goal from open play is going to come from ....

Don't worry, we absolutely love giving you penalties.

You've had something like 4 penalties in the last 4 games against us.

Gutting result. Shows that people care when they really don't.

I thought we deserved it, apart from Darikwa, I thought Chesterfield were awful.

They gifted us three chances in the space of 5mins, which levelled the game for us.

We created the better chances and edged the game, got a bit of luck at the end to beat ten men for the first time in ages as well.

Still. A gutting result, means Liverani stays.

Wow that was bad, very, very bad.

Orient never let their heads drop, credit to them especially considering their position. We scored from a penalty and a shit own goal, i don't remember us creating anything else of note. The sale of Doyle has weakened us no doubt but FFS we've totally stopped creating chances and that's nothing to do with the absence of Doyle. It was nothing but long ball up to Armand today, i can understand going a little more direct when the pitches are not great but we just looked like your bog standard League 2 team, so far away from how good we can be when we get it right. I fully expect us now to go on a 5 or 6 game winless run with Cook changing the team/formation from game to game.

A few of our fans were not happy with Tommy before today so i expect him to come under fire a little, wrongly IMO but dealing with crosses is a real weakness of his and he's had better spells in his CFC career.

Oh, hope the Orient fan got to the train station on time, didn't actually think there would be 10 plus mins of stoppage time. :D

We need to be looking over our shoulders big time here. I can't see where the goals are coming from. We'll finish a few places above the relegation zone I reckon

We're not going to go down and talk of it because we've lost 2 games on the bounce is a bit knee-jerk.

I knew it.

I'm reluctant to have too much of a go at the players because this was the first genuinely bad performance in a very long time. No one performed or came out well. However, they really did look like they felt they only had to turn up to win. Orient were sharper all over the pitch. The way we casually gave them the ball time after time in front of our own box, we deserved to lose and duly obliged.

I'm quite shocked at how bad we were.

I'm still wondering who gave our team talk in the tunnel/huddle before the game.

You could do with playing us soon. That'll boost his form instantly.

You have a 1-0 win coming up in a fortnight or so..

It was atrocious.

Usually after a nights sleep I can get over the football but i'm still feeling pretty let down this morning.

Hit home yesterday that we have sold our genuine play off hopes down the river for next to nothing. Fear the Doyle transfer fee will be swallowed up making up the money we lose when the crowds drop when we fade away which I fear we will do with this squad

We simply CANNOT play Armand at home - we change our whole style of play and formation to accommodate him and the football is poor, we are ineffective and often we by pass our best 3 footballers - Morsy, Ryan and O'Shea.

We miss the creativity Roberts provides for me also.

Pretty gutted that potentially our season will peter out thanks to the board selling our prize asset for a ridiculous amount - this season was genuinely one of the best chances we will get at getting to the Championship and with the strike force we have it simply won't happen.

On paper the season isn't over, but I fear it may well be. Yesterday was absolutely dire, like watching 2 different sides. Day was only made better by the fact I was in the hospitality - which was top notch as always.

The team have been backed to the hilt this season home and away and personally feel let down that the club haven't showed some ambition and returned the favour and made a serious statements of intent of getting into the Championship. Talk is cheap, actions would have spoke a lot louder.

We no worse than Bradford, Doncaster, Rochdale, Fleetwood etc who are also battling for 6th place and we have proven in one off games we can compete with the likes of MK.

Opportunity missed and the crowds will drop off this season and the 7000 average won't quite be reached and it will be all the fans fault.

So you don't think this is one of the best chances a side like ourselves will get? We've shot ourselves in the foot big time selling Doyle for note and replacing him with 1 month loans expecting them to plug the gaps. - square pegs in round holes spring to mind.

We will drop away now and finish in the bottom half, chance gone, crowds down, Doyle money gone to plug the financial gap of the crowds dropping - so what was the point of selling him and financially we will be no better off if we end up playing the season out in front of 5,500 rather than 7/8000 like we would if pushing for the play offs.

I'd look up self entitled if I was you by the way, unsure if you're confused or had a few too many last night and could still be pissed. If you've read the whole post and picked out one line to add your tuppance worth then you are an idiot anyway - which I think you have done so top marks for the contribution. I'll reply anyway - we've played all the aforementioned sides and got results against them or matched them bar Bradford. The league is so tight that anyone who wants to finish 6th can do from about 18th upwards - if we had a little bit of ambition and kept the source of 60% of our goals we would have had a bloody good chance of finishing 6th - that is now likely not to happen. For that reason I feel hacked off with the board who have been dishing out this 5 year plan for the championship, back the club and we will go places tripe for years now. Crowds turn up and they get rewarded with the sale of prize assets to the first serious bidder that trots along. Doing that won't 'packtheproact' as they keep urging.

Weird comment.

You'll beat us on Tuesday and be back in the play-offs, everything will be rosy again and you can stop crying about losing one game. We get it, you sold Doyle. The thing is, your whole team is good enough to keep the form up you were showing. Everytime I have seen Chesterfield, Doyle hasn't been the best player. Be thankful that you still have Morsy and Raglan.

2 games. And several bad performances in a row. And I agree, Doyle wasn't our best player, it's Gary Roberts we're missing at the moment. The problem's been there for longer than that - we didn't score a single league goal from the second minute at the game at Colchester on 21st October until 22nd November. But watching us, you can't see where the goals will come from now, and the defence have thrown in the towel too. Really, just fail to push us over on Tuesday and the 3 points will be easily yours. You won't believe how bad we are now.

I don't believe you've gone from the best side I have seen this season to absolute shite just by losing Doyle.

Nope ... losing Doyle, Gary Roberts being out injured, relying on loanees, Cook switching to 4-4-2, and a defence that look like they've never met each other before, and much as it pains me, Armand looking lost.

Now "several bad performances in a row" IS an exaggeration.
