Liev Schreiber will play Chris Benoit in a biography film called "Crossface."

Could they have cast it any better? I'm so looking forward to seeing this, as well as the people that'll be playing other WWE personnel.

He has the rights to all the wrestlers names, finishers the WWE/F as a whole. If he doesn't want it to happen, then he can make it extremely difficult. I guess it would have to stay away from using other wrestlers that are copyrighted.

I guess it's possible.

agreed he can quite easily block most of the name rights, especially as he owns also ECW and WCW rights.

I just do not see what good this movie does, why people are interested in seeing a guy murder his wife and kid...........they won't at all be able to get real genuine background to it.

They'll just use fictional names, they have the most important one.

Why do films like Foxcatcher, Snowtown and Monster get made? It's an interesting story.

Yes, but other wrestlers that they would have liked to use in the film wouldn't be used.
