First game of the season for me. From that performance we have a shaky defence but one of those games where Coventry were just dreadful. Sordell looked like he had something about him an did Reid.

Covvo have a long season ahead of them I'm afraid as this really should have ended 7-3

Well we should have scored another two at least. Cov wouldn't have scored one if we didn't have that clown in goal. Funny thing I was there the last time we played them in a league game in 1964 when Cov won 1 nil and Jimmy's Sky Blue boys were marching up the divisions. Seems like this time we are meeting you on your way back the other way..

Mind you you have a good player in Reid.

DC got the formation and team selection spot on this week and it made all the difference. Lets be honest, we should have scored 6 or 7. Bodin and Taylor both missed an absolute sitter but their overall play was excellent and it was great to see Billy back to his best. The entire team responded brilliantly to last weeks shambles at Shrewsbury.

Reid looked half decent for Coventry but he was the one bright light because they offered very little and looked poor at the back. Slade has got his work cut out but it's tight at the bottom and he could still turn things around.

Reid is shite and useless
