Chromecast/Amazon Firestick

Does anyone use either of the above?

We have a flatscreen in our office that we want to use to wirelessly "mirror" whats on a person's laptop and I'm told one of the above is the way to go....?

Can anyone confirm or deny? Or suggest a better method if the above is a big pile of shit?

What are you trying to 'mirror'?

Chromecast will mirror anything from supported apps/websites like BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Youtube etc. You can also download a plugin through Chrome browser to mirror anything that is on your laptop screen.

I'm not sure the firestick supports 'mirroring'?
