City Ground- Nottingham Forest FC Ground Guide
How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)
I went by coach, but did drive the time I went to Notts County, which is just across the river. To be fair, Nottingham is just a brilliant city for sport, with Forest, County, and the cricket ground all within walking distance of each other and the city centre.
If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
Like I said, I got the coach. But there was plenty of street parking at Meadow Lane across the river.
Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
The view from the away end is pretty good to be fair.
How Were The Stewards on The Day?
The stewards were quite nasty and aggressive, throwing people out for very little. This was in 2004, so I dont know if its improved since.
If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
Never really ate anything.
How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
It was good, but as above with the stewards, it ruined it as they were threatening people and throwing people out for next to nothing, so it was a pretty nasty atmosphere.
How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
I didnt go anywhere when I went to Forest as we were late getting there, but as I said, its not far from the city centre.
Overall Score Out of 10?
Decent ground if nothing particularly special, but as an away day, Nottingham is one of the best cities in the country for watching football.
7/10
