First home game I'm missing this season, last home game I missed that I couldn't be bothered with we shithoused a 1-0 win against Middlesbrough who hadn't conceded in 10 games against all odds; a repeat would be nice.

Giefer
Wright, Flint, Magnusson;
Brownhill, Hegeler, Reid, Bryan;
Tomlin, Paterson;
Tammy.
Hopefully a couple of new signings announced at half time to lift the spirits.

Reckon we'll get smashed here and not really too bothered if we do, 99% of people have now realised Johnson's not up to it as much as we'd like him to be, so maybe two defeats against Wednesday and Rotherham would be in the best interests of the future of the club. Who knows?

City 0-4 Wednesday

Hooper, Forestieri, Bannan, Wallace.

This team makes me sick at the moment. Mainly decent players with no team spirit or identity.
No idea on lineup and I doubt Johnson does either.

1-2

Not sure on this, City turned us over at their place last year and its the sort of game we've historically been bad in under Carlos. That said our away form is much better this season and with the teams around us winning at the weekend the pressure is on for us to pick up 3 points. I'll sit on the fence and say we'll get 1,

City 1-1 Wednesday (Forestieri)

Games against Forest will prove to be the turning points of our season.

Decided to come as I wanted to see Taylor announced :rolleyes:

Like the look of our team but fuck me Wednesday's is terrifying, even with Hutchinson and Lee out.

Sounds like Tomlin's playing with a point to prove

Ffs Wednesday, never overly disappointed with a point away from home but after being in front twice, and then conceding goals through a penalty and the luckiest deflection you'll see is a bit gutting. Wasn't overly keen on Carlos' substitution bringing Nuhiu on for Winnall so early on, seemed a bit negative and considering the amount of strikers and money we have spent Adthe should be nowhere near the bench. Ah well I'll take the point despite Owlstalk being in meltdown and hope for 3 at Wigan on Friday night.

Looks like City aren't the only one to have gotten some points on the board this evening, I hate speed cameras :dry:
Just explain the circumstances, I think it's understandable to get a bit carried away ;)

Draw was a fair outcome overall imo, both teams had their chances although the ref absolutely bottled sending off the guy who high kicked Tammy in the chest. You could see where he got kicked after seeing as he was still clutching it at half time.

I can't believe the first 'assault' on Tammy didn't even result in a booking!
That said, I am happy with a point. Mark Little is just not good enough for the Championship while Bannan and Forestieri are players I would happily pay to watch, really classy.

All that said, probably a fair result and I would have taken it beforehand TBH.

Which one you referring to? I know a few people around me missed the booking for Tomlin's free kick just outside the box. Funny thing, I thought Little was alright, had no help when Tomlin was out on the right.

Just seen Brizzles equaliser, what a fucking luckbox of a deflection that was to get them back to the land of scoring points. If Johnson uses this as an unjust springboard to instil some confidence and you end up finishing above us I'll be furious.

Sort of thing that's gone against us in recent weeks, needed that bit of luck to turn our season around (potentially) but anything other than a win against Rotherham on Saturday and he's got to go for me.

Had a shot cleared off the line, Tomlin's attempted lob only just went wide and had a few good other chances so were well worth it against a good Wednesday side, add they should have been down to 10 men in the first half (Lees just about not being last man saved him, but Loovens definitely should have been off) and could have easily been a win.

Wish we had Bannan man, he was so good tonight. We need someone like him to play alongside Hegeler, O'Neil was similar but we signed him three years past his sell by date so hopefully Brownhill can consistently produce performances to the standard required at this level and be that player.

Got a good feeling about Brownhill, on the occasions I've watched him there is quality there, hopefully can develop better. He's the sort of player if he develops well could go for £5m plus. O'Dowda showing some signs of his potential too tonight I thought.

O'Dowda's got lots of promise but frustrates me, he looks like he's about to beat his man and then cuts back inside and lays the ball off, I'd like him to be more direct like Adomah was. There's definitely a player in there mind, looks a very cheap gamble at £900k.

The few occasions I noticed he stopped while on the break was because he had 1 or 2 people ahead of him both of which were tightly marked so chose to retain possession. Guy on my course works at Oxford, rates him highly.

The first one when their number 12 stayed down for a while along with Tammy. The ref was all set to book him and when he got up and walked off, the ref put his card away. I was right in line and it was a filthy 'tackle' TBH.
I think Bannan 'took one for the team' when he floored Tomlin as Lee was on the verge of bursting through.
On Little, I agree that he had no help from Tommo but I don't understand why he is so far infield when 2 Wednesday players are hugging the line? I think he was certainly responsible for losing the ball for their 2nd (although Hegeler was also at fault for a poor pass) and as for the first goal, I have no idea what happened there!
While I like Litts and his effort, I genuinely thik he's just plain not good enough at this level. When he was one on one with Foristieri, I had my head in my hands at times.
In his defence, he was horribly exposed at times.

Yeah the guy who stayed down got booked, the ref waited until he was up again to do it. I agree I don't think Little is up to the standard for a regular championship right back, but on the last few performances I've seen of him he's been better than last season, I think our plan was to try and force Wednesday out wide when they had Foristieri and Winnall upfront, in the second half O'Dowda was regularly infield waiting for the ball to be played out wide before quickly closing them down.

Fair enough bud, I was waiting for their 12 to get a card but didn't see that. That was a bad 'tackle' but the one into Tammys' chest could easily have been a red card, that was a shocker!
Another poor ref TBH but he was equally poor for both sides so no excuses there.
I will put COD's issues down to naivity but Tommo should know better. Fitness (I'm not slagging him off BTW, I thought he was awesome in the first half when we had the ball)?

Johnson said Tomlin being ill hasn't helped with getting him back to full fitness so only expected to get 60-70 minutes out of him, was surprised he was left on as long as he was tbh as you could see his legs were gone at 65 minutes.

Totally agree hodge. He looked like the magician we know he can be during the first half though.
As for the embrace at the end, call me a cynical old bastard but that looked contrived as fook!
