Depends what you are using to determine size? If its just on crowds then go to a link with the average crowds for this season and tada!

Everything else is very subjective

Sorry, but we are certainly higher than 10th, and absolutely no way are we smaller than Halifax, Barnet and Macclesfield who despite having one of our worst ever seasons while those mentioned are having good seasons, our attendances are still a fair bit higher.

We are somewhere around Chester and Torquay in my opinion, any reasonable season playing decent football and we would average around 2000.

The fact we are 18th in this division is a horrible underachievement and the main reason why Scott had to go.

I'd argue that we're lower than 7th/8th personally. Halifax, Aldershot, Kiddy definitely above us.

If it is based on history and attendances, then we are definitely above Wrexham. You may all be surprised to hear that we have spent the majority of our history in the top 2 divisions.
Sadly, I doubt that we will ever be back there!! :( :(

Surely if one includes history as a criteria then either; short lived reformed clubs like Halifax, Telford and Chester would be down near the bottom with us, or we with our illustrious Football league history and FA cup exploits should be up at the top as well?

Point being this is a ridiculously silly thread made all the more laughable by a Woking fan trying to big his club up.

Not at all mate, just noticed it on the League 1 Forum and thought it would be interesting to see what people thought (If I wanted to big us up would I really put us 12th). I think most people treat phoenix clubs as continuations of the previous club to be honest.

You could throw a blanket over groups of clubs here and there in this league, log back in tomorrow and forget which order you had placed them in.

Bristol Rovers are bottom. they have the smallest non-league history of all of us.

Attendances also have to be taken into account and yours are horrendous. As far as I'm concerned, us and Halifax also have Football League history.

As for your FA Cup exploits, never knew you had any so can't comment.

It's generally recognised that the history of a club is with the new one when there is a clear phoenix side. People who don't are generally on the wind up.

Most prefer to be thought of as the same club, which is somewhere I think AFCR&D differ from others. We prefer (I believe) to be known as a different club, but still a continuation on the old one.

Other than that point, I dislike the whole idea of "we're a bigger club" etc. Always have. Don't personally see much value in such a conversation. Nobody really gains any information or much entertainment, and with that - I'm out of this thread.

Right instead of the hating, lets just all accept our clubs come in different shapes and sizes and we are proud of it - Bristol Rovers are a big club but we love their curves, Welling may be so undernourished we can see every bone but who doesn't love the runt of the litter.

Now let's all lie side by side and create a glorious non-league daisy chain.
