Historically, Blackburn are probably a bigger club, and that famous PL title adds to it - but now Burnley, PNE and Blackburn are all on a level playing field league wise, the difference in fanbase is hardly noticeable.

I'd have Blackburn above the rest because of history, but there's hardly a lot in it. Probably Preston just above Burnley as well.

I think the name 'Birmingham' maybe makes the team sound bigger than it actually is. Holding the 2nd largest city in England as a name has always seemed as to make Birmingham sound like a big club to me, if it had a name similar to Aston Villa (a suburb of Birmingham) it may not sound as big. That's not a dig by the way, just a view I always had.

They aren't that big of a club. Couple of league cups and a few stints in the Prem.
Never won the FA Cup either.

I'd put us 6th-8th overall in the Championship.

In terms of trophies, yeah, you can't really argue.

But before Jack Walker chucked his money at it, Blackburn were getting crowds of 7,000 - 8,000 in this league and they've quickly dropped below 15k since dropping out of the Prem despite cheap season tickets.

It's actually sad what Leicester have become and what fans they have attracted. They used to be a 'proper club' like us, Blues and Forest etc but now they're more like a Reading\Watford Soccer AM type of club. They have clappers at their games and sell scarfs with the 'we love you' chant on.

I'd rather we be in League 1 for the rest of our existence than turn out like that.

I agree. When Coventry v Leicester developed as a rivalry during the 00's it became relatively intense, but if we were to play them at their place next season in a cup, I couldn't imagine it being the same.

The atmosphere seems to be very good at Leicester this season I will give them that, but its a little bit manufactured as you say, them clap bangers are awful!

Only thing I don't understand with Fulham is how fickle their fanbase seems to be. In the 80s/90s when they were in third/fourth tier they barely managed 4000 attendances, but they generally get 15/20k+ in the top two divisions, which as I mentioned earlier is a majority of their history.

Hard to place, but I imagine around mid level for this division.

It doesn't help that they have Chelsea literally on their doorstep - I expect most kids are brought up to support Fulham, and most part-timers turn out for Fulham in the top league, and then toddle back off to Chelsea when they fall.

Well no, we had a very, very long stint as an established top tier club. Now, yes we are stuck down in League One, without a stadium and a future that is unpredictable. Disheartening? Yes, but it was never our stadium anyway, despite being built for us.

SISU won't be around forever.
