Well so far so good for 2015. Not that I am going to mention that all Chris Wilder has done is steal my NTFC tactical plan!

A very good performance, with the side clearly improving due to the stability in the side and understanding is improving all the time which is vital when the new formation is all about the front four of Richards, John-Joe, D'Ath and Holmes.

First half was so comfortable - our play deserved more than 2 goals from corners, but I am not going to complain. Second half, Newport had a bit more puff - but once we got the third goal it was Goodnight.

The turnaround is amazing to think a few weeks back, morale was at rock bottom. I suppose looking back though we were losing games by the odd goal. What has helped is the addition of Moloney, Holmes and Taylor.

Moloney is a very good right back, he can defend but looks very comfortable going forward. Along with Horwood both if needed would be good in a 5 -3-2.

Another very good showing from John-Joe - all of a sudden it has clicked in place for him.

Fucking good performance from us today. If we can keep the bulk of the squad fit for the next four months, we could have a very good second half to the season :)

Thought that was another huge step in the right direction.

Apart from a few minutes in the 2nd half we bossed that.

Moloney was superb and if there is a deal to be done to keep Holmes then hopefully its already being discussed as, again, he was very good. How he cant get in Pompeys team is beyond me.

Chairmans had alot of stick recently (some justified, some not) in part by people who clearly like repeating the same bile over and over again, but fair play for giving Wilder MORE money to pay off fringe players and bring in 3 more (with more to follow apparently). Since these 3 have come in we have played 4, won 3, drawn 1, conceding only 1 goal.

May be getting a bit carried away but sneaky play off bid anyone?!?!?!

Can only echo the thought above, we were excellent, Newport were terrible.

IF (big IF) we keep this starting XI fit then we can definitely do a York and make a run for the playoffs from now until the end of the season.

I just don't see a weakness in the starting team. Has pace, strength, goals from all round the park.

Also our next 5 fixtures look hugely winnable to keep the momentum going.

Accrington away
Morecombe home
Hartlepool away
Mansfield away
York home

I would be hoping to stay undefeated in 2015 from those fixtures.
