Well, we come off our worst defeat of the season. How easy it will be to forget about the MK Dons hammering I don't know. But in the reverse fixture back in September, we lost 6-1 to MK Dons before losing 3-0 to Colchester at home. Lets hope that doesn't repeat itself here.

As for the team, I think it makes sense to keep the same starting XI and shape as last Saturday. Worked well up until MK Dons, so no real point in ditching it after one horror show. If Ray is out injured, Stewart will likely come in as his replacement. If he isn't injured, then I reckon it will be the same again.

As for Col U, their home record is terrible, even with them winning their last home game against Orient. Plus, they are immediately below us in the table and as such, it makes this game a massive 6 pointer. Whilst he scored a cracking goal against Bradford, I'd like to think our CBs can handle Porter, then we've just got to be aware of the likes of Massey and Szmodics. Also got to be looking to get at their back line, which isn't much better than ours.

Our record at their new ground is played 3, won 3. Would be chuffed it we made it 4, but in all honesty, I'd take a point, not that we should be aiming for one at any stage during the game. I'll go for a 1-1 draw, Massey and Dalla Valle to score.

We've in fact won every game at Colchester since 1992. Its very much a happy hunting ground for us.

Echo whats been said here, Mk dons was a right off, we were never going to win that, so we need to get back to our normal form and get at least a point from these

Jeeeez we dont half love a trip to Colchester. Perfect time to get our 1st win of the season from a losing position.

Need to follow up this with a win at home to Yeovil on Tuesday. If we do that we won't be far off mid table mediocre. Which is a miracle considering where we were.

Massive win. Struggled initially in the first half, but then got on top and played some nice football whilst creating nothing of note. Colchester also couldn't really muster any decent chances and 0-0 at HT would have been fair. But as is the way with us, we switch off just before HT, Ray misses a simple cut out, falls to Porter and he smashes one in. Good finish, but terrible time for us to concede.

2nd half, we looked really flat for the first 20 minutes and I honestly couldn't see us scoring 1, let alone 3. But then we score almost out of nowhere, good work from Ajose who knocks it into LDV and he sets up Jones to smash in his first senior goal. Then 5 minutes later, we go ahead, a great bit of movement by Ajose and Grant finds him with a great pass. Clean through, he takes a touch and buries the ball brilliantly. Then we grab a third, Haber does well and gets the ball into the box and Grant tucks it away really well. Typical us, we again switch off and concede from a corner, but after that we saw the game out well. One really nervy moment from a free kick late on, but other than that, we stayed pretty solid.

Strange game really. Looked a bit toothless for the first 60 minutes but then go a bit mad and score 3. Felt we deserved the win as yet again Colchester looked really poor. In the first half, we had more of the ball and in the 2nd half, they never kicked on when they went ahead and looked really bad at the back. We weren't much better at times, but won and deserved it. Massive win in the relegation battle, got 4 more big games. First one coming up on Tuesday.
