This sounds like another excuse but I would have gone today had their not been train engineering works from London meaning I would have to take 2 replacement buses which I'm just not doing.

2 bad teams and I hope we are the better bad team. 0-2

I would have gone today but I couldn't be arsed. My enthusiasm has been seriously curbed this season.

Problem is, I honestly can't see any light at the end of the tunnel. Think we are in for a prolonged period of shitness - following on from the previous period of shitness.

I'm a miserable old Hector.

Lovely rainy day here in Colchester. We need an 80+ point season from here on in to have a chance of staying up so I've given up caring. That said, a win today and a win at home to Chesterfield on Tuesday would make things interesting for a couple more weeks, not that we will win both.

Weird team put out today but can't argue with 4-1

Looks fair to say Col U are fcuked.

Thought they had a decent team start of the season as well, Sordell, Moncur, Massey, Ambrose etc.

4 points from 9 from 3 tricky away games. A decent return and if we can beat Blackpool at home on Saturday we can hopefully look upwards again.

Same old rubbish. The number of times we let Swindon just take a leisurely stroll through the middle of the pitch was unreal. We offered little until the triple sub at 3-0, but if you wait until you're 3-0 down to start playing then it sort of defeats the point. We did look alright after that with a bit of urgency about us, and having made it 3-1 we looked set to pull it back to 3-2 until the fourth came against the run of play at that time, which just killed any (very, very faint) hope.

Swindon looked ok. Pretty boring to watch for two thirds of the pitch but decent in the final third. It's just so slow, strolling around and passing it sideways around at the back, but there were a few quick passing moves around the edge of our box that cut us open with ease. Vigouroux made a few excellent saves and Ajose is a goal machine. Rodgers and Doughty seemed to link things together quite well and Obika looked quite powerful.

Thanks for the honest review dedwards. Can't have been easy. 72 goals conceded this season, ouch!

To be honest, with each passing week I just find it a bit more amusing I think - the saying is that you don't know whether to laugh or cry, and I think I'm at the laughing stage!

In the whole of August, October, November, December, January and February we have won ONE league game. :ffs:

I backed Colchester for a play off place in September. Bow to me.

At least a few months back you were scoring a few goals while conceding loads, now you can't even do that and still concede loads of goals.

Not meaning to take the piss but at least you are entertaining. You alluded to it but we tend to pass pass pass without doing very much and that has turned a lot of Swindon fans off going to the county ground this season.

At least you still go to the games, I hope you guys turn it around and end the season strongly.

All the best to you.
