I'm staggered by the rhubarb hatred in here. It's lovely stuff. It's also one of a few thing as I can actually grow and not end up killing.

The other big success veg-wise was cauliflower. We grew a few of them a couple of years ago and they were delicious. The only issue was the slugs. Hundreds of the buggers had buried themselves within the cauliflower head so it took ages to remove them all. It put me off veg growing a bit so I'm back to just rhubarb.

Oh and dont bother with the compost bin they stink and rats will run riot in your garden for years after you decide to get rid

next door but 2 had one and and i ended up spending 2 nights shooting the little bastards and pouring diesel down the holes they make everywhere and burn the little fuckers out...............was fun for he first 20 and i aint kidding...........plastic is like chocolate to rats don't care what anyone says.

No the neighbors were old so felt obliged to help the old boy...........they jump like fuck when you dont hit them properly too..........quite hard from 20 yards specially with my 10 bob eyes.
