Happy with Ajala returning, an injection of energy and pace that we have needed. Verma has also extended his loan spell until the summer.

Positive day, hopefully with more to come before the weekend.

Everybody has exited the sinking ship that is Kidderminster Harriers today.

Dino Fazlic and Matt Young have been released.
Kennedy Digie and Aman Verma have extended their loans at Hednesford and Torquay
Kyle Howkins and Alex Palmer have both been recalled by West Brom
And finally in the only incoming of the day (sort of) Ty Williams has been recalled from his loan at Hednesford.

No need for him at Macc, already got Turnbull, Whitaker, Whitehead & Lewis fighting for the starting spots. Danny Rowe has also played there last couple of games, and we've got Chris Churchman who can't even make the bench.

We seemed to have picked the best crop of the talented players previously at County, don't need a pleb like Nolan coming in thinking he's all that.

Desperate need for a midfield at Barrow. Plebs welcome.

If Nolan didn't like our style of play, he's sure as hell not going to want to play under Cox!

Macc or Chester is a good shout. Unless he ends up with his other mate Rowe at Fylde.

On second thoughts maybe no, would probably end up playing one game for us and crawl back as a hero to where once he came from!

When you're unemployed, you can't be too picky about style of football.

Winger John Johnston has left us and joined Salford City on a months loan.

Was very good for us last season during our relegation from the Conference Premier. Has struggled to reach the same heights this season mainly due to being played out of position and a lack of match fitness. If he can regain full fitness he will rip the Evo Stik Premier apart. Very good signing for Salford.

In one of the more unsurprising/less exciting moves, Tony Diagne has extended his loan until the end of the season.

The league is ours! We've extended the great Tony Diagne's loan until the end of the season!

I can only presume this is the news Sparrow has been bleating on about?!

Started the season at left-back due the LB we signed in the summer knackering his ligaments in pre-season, and was there until we signed Fitzpatrick (who was a massive improvement). Then has played CB quite a lot despite being third choice behind Pilks and Byrne due to injuries to both of them (mostly the latter) where he has looked fairly decent, as long as he doesn't think too much with the ball at his feet in our area.

He's also come of the bench late on in the last 2 games to play in central midfield...

Oh my god, the thought of Diagne in midfield is enough to give me a cold sweat. In fact anywhere in the side would be a worry to me. However we haven't exactly been great defensively all season either, and that's putting it mildly.

Bingo.

Good player. Will run continuously for you and scores all types of goals. Equally good with both feet. Has a remarkable ability to keep his shirt tucked in at all times. You have to play to his strengths, though. He's failed at Wrexham, Aldershot and Dover in this division. Garry Hill managed to get the best out of him, surprise, surprise. Better playing with a target-man type of striker, so I'm not sure Cheltenham will suit him. If Johnson can make it work then that's the title sealed. For him, personally, it's not really a great a move. Full-time football, yes, but still non-league. His move with a decent League 2 side collapsed. I wish him well. Seems a nice guy, who was popular amongst our fans and squad, and loved playing at Woking.

Video of his goals for us:

Not if those 4 were in the bottom 6 or so.

Wimbledon, Barnet and Luton were three of them if you believe Twitter. So yes, not exactly top L2 clubs but still a good effort to persuade him to stay in non-league.

I know a different club to those mentioned, who are top 10. Hadn't heard about any of those albeit they may have been 'interested'. Only on a deal until the end of the season too so might not even be kept on if Cheltenham make the Football League. Difficult for us to take but that's what you have to deal with when you're part-time and working on our budget. Garry Hill will find another.

Dan Holman confirmed for a five figure fee, we beat off four league two clubs to sign him as well.

And it's a free transfer rather than a five-figure fee too. Wish he had been given more of a chance with us as he clearly knows where the goal is which you'd assume to be fairly instinctive regardless of the level.
