There must be a morality vacuum in Worcestershire.

Harriers would be in a bit of a difficult situation were we to disassociate ourselves from Hughes. He is the player who has brought more income to Harriers through sell on fees than anyone else (I think it may be upwards of £500k in total) so he's arguably the most important player in our history.

And he is genuinely a nice lad, who made a mistake but has shown remorse and has tried to make up for it.

I hope he does well for you.

Who needs morals when you've got money eh?

If he played for you i'm sure you'd be joining in with 'The Hughesie'.

Good times.

If he played for us I'd not be renewing my season ticket. I suppose it's all right if he's belatedly shown remorse to keep getting these 'last paydays'.

If I'm honest, I am a little uneasy about it. Just giving some background info. I will still be there tomorrow to support the team. No player is bigger than any club, but every club will have players that are important parts of their history. Hughes was a key part of one of the most successful Harriers teams ever.

Fallen out of favour?
Yes. He hasnt been himself this season. His knee injury has been a really hindrance. As always he is good iin the air and a real pest for defenders but has really had a shortage of goals for us. Just 4 all season 3 of which were in August.
Also in a DSC game against SouthNormanton he was poor. Missed a pen and didnt look interested. Since then he hasnt had a look in. Hopeful to see him. He is still adored by the fans.

We've signed Jack Muldoon on loan for the rest of the season from Rochdale.

Did well up front for Worksop last season but got injured in pre season and hasn't had a look in at Dale

We've signed Yemi Odubade on loan from Eastleigh, don't know too much about him but another striker, to add to Rendell and Lafayette

We had him on loan from Gateshead for the second half of the 12/13 season. I was pretty excited when he turned up as I had seen him play a few times and was impressed with his pace. Sadly that had already deserted him by the time he came to us and, unless he has rediscovered it, I wouldn't rate him above either of the players you named.

According to the BBC, "Eastleigh sign forward Dan Walker on loan from Conference rivals Eastleigh for the rest of the season."

Hilarious Luke :woot:, great spot mate and sums up the beeb's attitude to the conference.

It could be a clever ploy, when a club is a bit short of money, announce a big signing but omit to tell the media that the player is already on your books. If that was the intention it seems like the Beeb fell for it, hook, line and sinker!

Par for the course for the BBC. Follows on from their player being offside when being played though by himself on the live text and their convoluted way of describing a goal being scored direct from a corner also on live text.
