Okay first Blissett very good in the air will always win headers. Like A Bristol Rovers fan said he touch on the ball is poor. Also he will guaranteed get a yellow card nearly every game because the refs at this level deem a tall guy getting above a defender a foul all the time.

Second Matt Robinson in his one month spell with us last season was easily our best player then looks composed on the ball from what I remember.

Tranmere have signed Nathan Blisset on a one month loan from Bristol Rovers. Anyone see him play last year?
Blisset is not a bad player but quite raw and needs game time. Whether he improves is another story altogether.Tallish bloke who wins quite a few headers but is pretty slow on the ground. Hence why is 5th on our pecking order at present Mind you that could be sixth as Jamie Lucas is starting to fire them in. As your playing BW tomorrow i'll let you decide that.

Matt Robinson (centre mid) signs for us on loan from Luton.

Know nothing about the bloke to be honest.

Most notable for tinpot rapping skills. Prepare to cringe:

He's probably better at rapping than he is at football... Can do a job at Conference level but he's too slow (physically and mentally) to go higher IMHO.

Andy Parry has apparently signed on loan from Luton. No official announcement on the club website, but it's on the forum.

It's been announced on our official Twitter too so definitely happened. He's better than Robinson IMHO although has had some rotten luck with injuries.. Can play as a midfield anchorman or as a centre back. Centre back is supposed to be his most natural position, although he very rarely played there for us so I can't comment too much.

He was first choice for us alongside Jonathan Smith in central midfield during the Conference pissing season until he picked up a string of injuries starting in about October/November IIRC. We signed Pelly Ruddock and then Cameron McGeehan on loans to replace him and ended up signing both permanently, plus signed Nathan Doyle and Andy Drury last summer all at great expense, so Parry was pushed waaay down the pecking order. He's never had a look-in since that first injury which is a shame as he looked a decent prospect.

Thanks for the info. He will be playing in central defence, covering for injury for a few weeks at least. I hope he does well.

Bit late but I think if Parry hadn't have got injured at an unfortunate time he would be a starting central
Midfielder for us by now. Really, really liked him at the beginning of that 13/14 season for us, and rated him higher than Robinson for sure.

A real shame that it hasn't worked out since.

Robinson is a trier but judging from his performances last season this is his level. Can slip in a mean through ball for a pacey striker though.

Hope both do well.

A lot of people sat around me were not very complimentary about Robinson on Saturday, whereas i thought he really grew into the game and the second half he looked like he really fitted in.
3 or 4 times in the 2nd half he played a great ball through which was either just cut out by a defender on the stretch or was called offside, and he is a proper trier to boot, happy to have players like that in our team at the minute.
Very lucky with his goal though, fuck knows what their keeper was doing....... :ffs:

We've extended our loan of Kbongo Tshimanga from MK Dons for a further 2 months, 5 goals from 4 games so far.

Young lad who is only just starting in Mens footballs having scored 42 goals in 28 games or something ridiculous for MK Dons U18s.

Evidently his natural position is central midfield, but has never started there. Has been a makeshift winger in recent seasons and has been too inconsistent to hold down a regular starting place in the side. Not 100% match fit as he's coming back from an injury. Think he's a bit light weight myself and lacks confidence to go past his marker and plays the easy ball. The ability is there in reserve games, just doesn't show it when it counts for the first team.
Surprised he's gone out on loan as Tranmere aren't exactly overloaded with wide players.
Hope he does well for you.

He's also got a bit more pace than most of the current squad, not that is saying much.
Jake sees himself as more of a forward. He did come on as a sub against Northampton last December and scored within a minute. If he's picked regularly while with you might build up some fitness and confidence.

Well we are well stocked in central midfield so don't see him playing there. We played 433 in our last game so could potentially see him and Baggie (when he is back fit) either side of Odejayi.

Crikey our forward line from last year, best of luck with that

- Jake scores our second from a move he started on the left seconds after he came on. (Side note, that was Odejayi's 2nd best goal for us for the 1st). I disagree that he is a CM, as to me he is definitely more of a striker. He's got a fair bit of pace and can finish really well, but he never seems to take people on. He runs at them, stops and either passes backwards or loses the ball.

Get him fit, confident and playing up top and I genuinely believe there's a player there. It's a bit like watching a Tranmere XI for you lot these days, isn't it?
