Gills have signed Joe Quigley who has apparently played for Wrexham and Woking and barely anyone else. Any opinions on the chap from those who've seen him?

Did well for us for a couple of months when he was playing alongside Dan Holman, didn't really show up after that when he had to lead the line without any real support. Tall but not particularly good in the air, decent on the ground, no pace at all.

He looked very raw when he was with us, but did have something about him - as proved when he later joined Woking and scored a fair few goals.

Ill always like him as he scored the equaliser against Tranmere for us.

yeah, that's the one, started as a youth player through to the first team. good to hear he's ok, did he play many first team games for you, or just the odd few?

I actually only remember him playing twice, first was fine, second was the Hereford one where he had an absolute mare.

He's the one who gives away the penalty and then for some reason doesn't want to get anywhere near the player for the 2nd!

We've signed defender Theo Vassell on loan from Walsall until the new year. He only joined them last week so straight out on loan to us it is.

That's our defence sorted now, just need a few more strikers as we've only got two on the books.

I'm more shocked that his name is actually Seal than the fact he has 6 names weirdly. Thought that was his stage name.
