The swear filters I believe aren't permanent, they are just applied to see if they can be done, I don't see the issue with having them installed anyway tbh. Johnny being banned is due to his own negligence to behave, we all know he goes overboard and doesn't listen. As for posters being restricted from any parts of the forum, I don't know about that, the only places I assume are restricted to regular posters are the supporters end which has been here for a long time now and was around on TFF if you remember, and the staff room? If you have issues with me being a mod, take it up with the admins Steve.

You are a mod now and that's that - it's not that I have a problem with you being a mod because I don't think you'll throw your weight around or do anything untoward it's more that I think you were a strange choice to begin with. I don't think you would have considered yourself to be in the running for a modship before it actually came along, would you? I threw that in as a comical aside anyway - the only real issues for me are the banning of members, this ridiculous swear filter and the restricting of access to certain parts of the forum for certain members of the forum.

I didn't see the posts personally that resulted in Johnny's latest ban either, and I only read about it the other day. He did make a post that was directed to me a few weeks back that was very nasty, but I didn't take action against him as I felt it would be deemed as biased towards him, but I did have to delete the message. Some of his stuff is begrudgingly funny I have to admit, even if it is about Liverpool (and some of which is true tbh!); but if he wont reign it in just a bit and continue to go way ott, then I don't see what else can be done except ban him.
