Respect for not only getting to the 3rd tier but in the manner it was achieved. Coleman has certainly worked wonders with the team and installed a winning mentality. Their second half of the season run must be one of the best in the leagues history. Was expecting them to slip up at some point but they've just motored on. Will be interesting to see how they get on next season. The challenge will be to bring in quality to strengthen the squad on their well publiced shoestring budget. It seems however this is the secret of their success.

Still coming back down to earth after last night's celebrations.
Its great to see supporters of other clubs congratulating us and wishing us all the best - much appreciated.
We've probably all been mocked at some point by people who "support" Premiership clubs for following lower league football but when our clubs get promoted or cause a cup upset we feel part of it and experience feelings they'll never understand.
Really looking forward to seeing our club develop further with the new stand and training ground happening soon.
Now to book tickets for Wycombe and Newport away as we fight for the title...

I laughed at someone at school for supporting lower league football (darlington). Once i gave it a go myself i got into it. League 1, 2 and conference trounce the continental premier league

Their turnaround in the second half of the season has been truly incredible for a team with limited resources to strengthen who you would normally expect to find things tough going after January. When we played them on boxing day they were coming off the back of 4 successive defeats and were among the worst opponents I'd seen us face. They dropped out of the play-off places and you just expected that would be the fun and games over for another season for them. Yet incredibly since then they have only lost one further game (rather improbably, Crawley did the double over them) which must be one of the strongest second halves of the season anyone has had at this level. Glad we got them out of the way by December.

And probably more improbably, Barnet are one of only three teams to get any points against them during that run (holding them to a draw in mid-February when they were already looking doomed). But anyway, hearty congratulations as everyone else has said.

I reckon it's all been a fix by the Milk Marketing Board, check for shady payments from dairy farmers to Luton when they were ten points clear.

Congratulations to Accy. Will be very interesting to see how they do next season, some great games for them v Sunderland and potentially Birmingham/Bolton.

Seems they've done a bit of a Leicester in managing to almost completely avoid any serious injuries/suspensions to key players? I was amazed no-one came in for Kee in January, unless they did and Holt just point blank refused all offers?

What an achievement and pleased as punch for em, helped us with Jordan Thorniley's development and as an 80s kid I have a soft spot for them for THAT advert.

Football is often a cruel but beautiful game and this is the beautiful side, small budget (Big Macs apart) and a manager with a genuine affinity with the club, hope they don't drop back down immediately and give some bigger boys a bloody nose.

They remain one of the few clubs we haven't played since I've been going to footy and often hope for an away day at Club Tropicana.

Still pinching myself that this actually happened and its 4 months ago !!

Thanks all for the nice comments.

Cracking away win at the weekend as well. Must say i was slightly worried for you when i saw jackson had left and mangan brought in, as he wasn't even cutting it for us in the conference, but then again knowing coleman he'll probably get him banging in about 30 goals this season and finishing the league's top scorer.

Can't say im massively chuffed that Mangan is back considering his "history" with us. I can't see him starting to be honest with Kee and Zanzala in front of him, and possibly another loan striker coming in before the end of the window.

But who knows, maybe he could be a decent impact sub, I highly doubt it mind.
