Absolutely incredible. Been there in the good and the bad, up until 6 years ago it was mostly bad barring a relegation escape and the 2003 playoff final. The best money I've ever spent was going into buckets to keep us afloat- makes moments of success even more special and worthwhile.

I never, ever thought I'd see us make the top tier, not that bothered about staying there long term in truth but it's going to be a hell of an experience and *hopefully*, if managed correctly it can secure the long term future of our football club financially, something that in itself was a mere pipe dream a few short years ago.

He put about 200k into the club when it was on it's knees, no doubt he'll earn that several times over if he hasn't already. Haven't always agreed with some of the stuff the bloke has done, but he's a part of where we are now. He's no Russian millionaire, but he's bought more than a few rounds down the years at random far flung away games!

Well done AFCB - I haven't taken any notice of the premier league for ages - It seems full of irritating people and irritating sides to me, so it will make a nice change for me to have a team to cheer on.
No doubt you Bournemouth fans will say ' no! he's rubbish!' but do you think Eddie Howe could go on to manage England one day?

Well done Bournemouth, its amazing to think what both our clubs have achieved since the dark days of administration and 17 point deductions and relegations.
I was lucky enough to see all 3 games between us this season and although 2 of those games were a nightmare for us, it was great to see a team playing such delightful football.
Certainly the best team I saw this season, I think and hope you may shock a few next year...good luck.

In both our receivership of 1996 and our administration in 2008, a lot of small local businesses lost money. A few thousand here, 10k there, it all adds up and must have been painful for those small businesses at the time.

It's calculated that a year in the top flight is worth upwards of 50m to the local economy and businesses of East Dorset due to the extra attention and coverage of the area (although I've no idea how that is calculated or works in reality).

It's a simplistic naive thought maybe, but it would be nice to think that some of those who lost out in previous bad times might benefit in some way now.

Yep, It would be a nice gesture if something could be done, but we all know that's not how the world works. For example the club are (likely) going to increase all our STs by 30 quid or more each (for fewer games) and make a few thousand extra from us suckers, when it's utterly insignificant and pointless compared with 120m. The club is a machine now, like most sadly.

Well done Bournemouth, I hope we are able to follow you guys up next season with a bit of effort this summer (if not following you up immediately through a very unlikely play off win!).

Got to say, every time I saw you on TV, you guys played amazing football, and looked a real force to be reckoned with. In person though, in both your games against us, you didn't seem to turn up to the same extent. Even in our 1-0 defeat away we were very unlucky to not come away with a comfortable win.

Wonder where we would have been had we got Wilson instead of you, the way he plays would be perfect for us as well, and would have made a real difference in the final third I feel. Hoping we can pick up a similar gem this summer.

Always wondered this after the Chairman was saying the main aim for prem football.

Test out the high prices for a pointless friendly with Real Madrid, ready for similar pricing strategies when Man Utd/Arsenal/Liverpool etc come to town in the Prem.

Given that all games for Bournemouth next season will be sell outs anyway, match day tickets will be like gold dust - rare and expensive.

Quite refreshing to see a new team going up. Not sure what Howe has managed to do with this lot but it's been nothing short of superb. If they manage to stay as aggressive next season they should be as fun to watch.

Should be an entertaining team to watch next season, their defence is a bit shaky at points but their attack is second to none, shown by their stats this year. If they keep the same style next season, I'm sure the fans will be fine whatever happens.
