A bit early to be calling him the next this or that but yes, he is very good.

Ticks pretty much every box you want from a midfielder. Good on the ball, so composed for someone so young, good range of passing, gets stuck in. Selfless, which again given his age really surprised me, no brainless long shots etc, if there’s a better option he usually finds it.

Has been caught on the ball a few times in midfield so maybe needs to learn to get rid of it a bit quicker, sure that’ll come in time as he gets used to the pace of senior football.

He’s supposed to be bit of a set piece specialist but thinking about it now, after 6 games I genuinely can’t think of one free-kick we’ve won in shooting range so will have to wait and see on that one.

Looked very composed and classy for England in the summer. It's good to see him take to the Championship so quickly.

He's exactly the same age Mount was when at Derby last season so it could be an interesting comparison if he goes on to score 10+ goals like he did.
