Michael Hector pretty much kept Cavani in his back pocket (Uruguay only managed 2 shots on target). Hopefully got room for Aguero and Messi next game.

Marcos Rojo is crap. I've been really impressed by Ever Banega.

Banega and Pastore have been excellent, Di Maria has been shocking too though.

Been a superb game though, Argentina looking to run away with it in the first half but Paraguay have come right back in this with good play and a great strike, and then great saves by both keepers keeping the score down. Its been end to end since.

Great game. Naivety from Argentina costs them.

That and Paraguay were excellent second half, they really went at them. Uruguay v Argentina will be tasty now with the latter really having to go for it.

Fantastic end-to-end game. Paraguay showed great spirit in the 2nd half and had several chances to equalise, and they deserved that last minute winner.

What a game!!! That was the Paraguay we all know. A hard working team. That strike from Haedo Valdez really brought them back in it and their defence in the second half was excellent. Great play for the goal at the end also.

Well done Paraguay. Game of the tournament so far.

Fantastic game that! Totally deserved for Paraguay based on that second half performance.

Argentina still don't quite look to have the balance right. Good going forward but very susceptible to the counter-attack and the ease with which Gonzalez and Benitez were getting behind their midfield will be a worry.

Watching the first half, I thought Argentina was going to smash Paraguay in second half. Credit to Paraguay, they completely turned the game around and deservedly got a point from the game.
Higuain and Tevez were both shit when they came on. And Tata Martino is clueless.

You say this as if it's some kind of achievement.
Really not surprised that Uruguay are struggling without Suarez. It was obvious at the World Cup and a year later, not much seems to have changed. He got them out of jail last summer and without him Uruguay probably would have finished bottom of the group.
Gonna watch the Colombia and Brazil game. Looking forward.

Looking at Brazil's squad, I'm slightly less worried. Of course, anything can go wrong with Peru's defence but I'm not really too convinced with anyone other than Firmino and Neymar. Coutinho won't be playing today.

Playing in Temuco, it will be tough for Peru, but it will also be tough for Brazil as they aren't used to playing in cold climates either. Don't think it should strike as a big problem as both teams will have the same issue.

As for Brazil's other players, I've never rated Fernandinho. David Luiz may be a threat from free kicks, but he's no Pirlo though. Tardelli may be a player who COULD cause danger, I don't really know how he's doing in China but I rated him at Atletico Mineiro in 2013. I'm not really too worried about Robinho.

I still think we'll lose, but I'll be happy if we put up a fight against Brazil.

Peru needs Colombia to win today. If Venezuela win, then it will be very difficult to qualify.

Venezuela certainly doesn't have a bad squad but I feel they've declined since the qualifiers.

Venezuela looking in control right now. James and Falcao have both been anonymous so far.

Terrible first half but Venezuela have been impressive. Very organised unit and causing some problems to Zapata (ok, not hard). They have given the ball in dangerous positions though so they might get punished in the second half.
Starting to think that Falcao is not even better than Cavani. Just struggles so much to exist everytime I see him.

Looking forward to Brazil later tonight.

From what I've seen on this god-awful stream Colombia have been very disappointing so far.

Early days, but this is looking a very competitive tournament.

Colombia have been terrible. Cuadrado has declined a lot. I'm seeing the Cuadrado from Chelsea right now, not the Cuadrado from the 2014 World Cup, or even Fiorentina for that matter. As I said, Falcao and James have been anonymous. Not THAT surprised by how well Venezuela have been doing but impressed seeing how poor they've been after Cesar Farias left.

I'm always a bit wary before dissing a #10 as each time they get the ball, they have 3 players breathing down their necks. Bit hard to exist in those situations. Same goes with Falcao I suppose but he had 2 years of being just lethal. I hope he doesn't go all Ronaldo on us.

Incredible block to deny Neymar then they nearly go and score up the other end! Crazily open start, plenty more goals in this

Aye definitely, both sides looking dangerous, and there will always be goals in it with David Luiz playing!

You can always rely on him for entertainment

Loving Peru's approach to this. Really going at it and taking the game to Brazil. It's leaving them wide open at the back but they're giving as good as they get so far and it makes for brilliant viewing!

Absolutely, Lib is quiet though, probably biting his nails!

Trust old Dani Alves, going down like he's been sniped - what a lad. :)
