And Messi gets the third and ties the genius Batigol's scoring record for Argentina. Surely game over now.

Tight game, I think we were a tad unfortunate that they scored 7, but at 6 nil down with 15 minutes to play Chicharito had a good chance which took a funny bounce off a dodgy pitch. If that goes in, as it surely would if the groundsmen did their job properly, I think we could have gone on to nick it.
So a bit dejected at being robbed blind really.

Thats was utterly surreal how easily Mexico chucked it in. Shameful in fact.

He's incredible, that chip was delicious for the opener, and I did not think he'd score a freekick from that distance, but it was inch perfect, Guzan had no chance. What a goal to get the scoring record for Argentina, and what a player.

USA down 0-2 against Argentina. How embarassing.

Edit: Ooops. Spoke too soon. Now down 0-3. Even more embarassing.

Why is it embarassing, the USA are an average side playing the number one side in the world, who also have the world's greatest player on fire for them. The USA have done well to get to the semi's and its no shame if they are to be eliminated at the stage against this side.

Especially with 3 first players missing - Bedoya, Jones and Wood. Not saying we would win with them but we would have definitely played better.

We reached further than Brazil though...that is embarrassing.
Brazil 7-1 Germany now that was embarrassing.

Argentina hardly will miss this title. So grateful to see Messi playing and enhancing it. But the whole team is a thing.
No shame for USA though. Argentina is a very strong team and USA was the Concacaf NT to reach further and managed to not loose like México, for example.

Chile is doing quite good. Still not Sampaoli level but very good. They were totally superior to Colômbia. But I don't see them beating Argentina this time.

Yeah I feel also its Argentina's time; last year they were playing with a slight fear, I see none of that this time around. Lavezzi will be a big miss though.

Is Messi really retiring of Argentina NT? Man, when AFA has an awesome team in the hands they still have the power to screw up everything. Rumours about other players like Mascherano, Aguero and Higuain wanting to retire from the nt too.
