A good night last night - Atletico Nacional got an incredibly late goal to beat Central, which resulted in the obligatory punch-up. I only saw the highlights, but it looked like a really good game.

Boca just about held their nerve to see off Nacional on panalties.

The quite exciting thing is that all 4 semi-finalists this year will be from different countries.

The atmosphere of Boca at La Bombonera is absolutely fantastic to see mainly with the contagious public support. Boca did good and played better practically the whole match but the own goal and lack to made up into the nets with all the created chances muddled their immediate classifying. All in all, I think Boca will reach the finals.

Atlético Nacional and Rosário made probably the best match of the competition until now. It was a match to not blink. With that confusion and exalted spirits pinch (actually way more than a pinch) very present. And here we had one of that amazing moments of football: the classifying coming on the last minutes. Well done Atlético.

Kinda wanted Rosário to get it so they’d mandatorily get Boca and São Paulo wouldn’t have to face Atlético Nacional (which will be very hard) but well, always nice to see a team like Atlético going far.

This defeat at home by 2-0 to Atlético Nacional is really worrying. São Paulo's scheme was to keep the tie and let the decision to the second leg and it was getting right somehow - not playing that good, missing to pressure since we were at our home but managing the tie - but Maicon's sent out totally disrupted the team and the end of the game was from Nacional and unexpectedly they got an amazing victory. Atlético Nacional despite everything never hid of the game and when they made up the passes they grow and with very good plays and us with not a safe goalkeeper the damage was done. Now it will be hard to recover at Colômbia, hardly believe we'll go through. But Nacional deserves this title.

We're out but I'm satisfied of how far we reached. Atlético Nacional is a very structured team with many talent in speed and passes, it's not for nothing they're the best team of the competition until here. São Paulo on the other hand is a team under construction and still not constant so to face Atlético Nacional with disadvantage of the first game we got nothing at home turned the task even harder. Nacional is a ready team to get this title and reaching the finals was more than deserved. São Paulo fought as possible but Atlético managed wisely the match at Colômbia as we should've done at Brazil. There was a penalty not given to São Paulo but nothing that would change directly the situation (I mean considering the penalty was marked and converted it still would be hard to score more 2 goals). Also don't know what really happened for the two sent-offs since it wasn't filmed (at least not where I watched the game), for what I understood the ref mistaken Michel Bastos with Wesley at fisrt but still don't know what Wesley did and Lugano was said to clap of the ref's decicion but he told he was clapping to incentive the team anyway with no images it's impossible to set an opinion.

What a game between Boca and Del Valle. Del Valle grow so much on the competition and eliminated teams like Boca and River at their home. And it's extremely hard to win at La Bombonera. It will be nice to see a Colombian and an Ecuatorian team at the finals and for the first time no Brazilian or Argentinian teams present. Nacional and Del Valle sounds to be a final like so long we've no seen. I'm very curious about it.

First leg of the finals and Nacional started very well with good positioning and Moreno and Borja in speed while Del Valle was nervous. Beautiful goal from Berrío. But Del Valle is really surprising and Mina who made meaningful deffensive mistakes redeemed with a goal in the end (moreover he's a deffensive player but did better offensively the whole game which reminds me of David Luiz and that's not comforting). Nobody with score advantages for last match so it's all or nothing next week.
