Coutinho or Barkley.

Who would you sooner have in your lineup?

I hope so, because at the moment he just seems completely off the pace. I'm not usually one to say that but he seems to have struggled a bit with the (brainless) pace of the premiere league.

Firmino's been shockingly poor so far though. Just seems to constantly give the ball away.

I'd disagree, quite strongly. You can already tell he's a really smart player, finds space so well and looks to be incisive with the ball. Looking forward to seeing him in full flight.

But but...*sigh*

I seem to get the same reaction from most fellow Liverpool fans. Let's hope he proves me wrong.

I don't think the way we were playing under the previous manager made it easy for any of the mids, they were so far from the forward that it was more out of hope than anything, but I saw enough from him then to be encouraged. seeing his performance against Bournemouth impressed me, he was clearly intelligent and he worked the channels really well and was forever finding space and looking for the final ball, he just only had Origi to attempt to put through.

He's not been great but I guess I mainly disagree cause I can see how he could be very good for us.

Raheem Sterling says

"Ross Barkley is the most exciting midfielder he has ever played with".

Looks like City have started the Barkley charm offensive early. At least we know where he'll be next season.

Glad he didn't get picked. I mean their coach is Dunga! He was sacked by the same national before for not getting the results. Don't see anything changing now for Brazil either.

My view is pretty much the same as my Everton supporting friends and family back when Arteta couldn't buy his way into the Spanish side. No international games = less chance of injury.

It's interesting though init jock. That someone as distinguished and revered as the legendary Dunga rates a 33 year old bloke on an extended holiday higher than Liverpool's supposed best player.

Well I mean he's won more than the oracle, Brendan Rodgers, who you rate rather highly. Good manager imo :hypo:

Winning the Copa America, big deal, hardly a monumental thing for Brazil is it, any daft sod could do that. He's a dinosaur like Hodgson. The only reason he is back in charge of them is due to the Brazilian FA's constant shortsightedness.

And a Confed Cup against the might of 2009 Spain (that was the year in between them winning the European Championships and the World Cup for the record). And a league title with Internacional. It's a bit weird that they haven't won the Copa since Dunga did if it's so easy fella. Kinda makes your statement look absolutely ridiculous tbh mate.

You know who wouldn't win it? Rodgers. His greatest achievement as a manager is failing to win a league title.... twice.

At least he wouldn't have you fighting relegation battle like tactical genius Steve McClaren.

Who, Dunga? Yeah, he'd have us top 4 within a week. Good shout bud.
