That was absolutely shit. That's about five games in a row now where we seem to have made next to no effort in the first half at all, which is pathetic. It's like we are trying to hold out for a 0-0 until half time to then go for it after the break, but we didn't even go for it in the second half really. Just awful.

They get your hopes up and then throw in a game like that. I hate football.

Zero point in Maddison moving to a PL club etc as he just won't get game time at this stage. He's also only played a handful of games for us so it is far too early to judge him, like it was far too early to judge Haynes. He should stay here for at least another season, play a full season, score 15 plus goals and then speculation about a move would be warranted.

He should look to follow Callum Wilson's route to the top. Slow progression.

I know right, how stupid could you get - fancy passing it back to the goalkeeper who you are currently taking goal kicks on behalf of?!

Still annoyed at yesterday. I just don't understand why we haven't been bothering in the first half of games recently. We were making no efforts to get forward, when we had the ball the wingers were playing within themselves and hanging back, we were slow, lumping it forward and just look like we're playing for a 0-0 at half-time, it makes no sense. The game was there for the taking for both teams yesterday, and between 45-60 minutes for the small spell where we had a little go it showed how it could have panned out if we had gone for it from the off. You could see the goal was coming and, when it did, you can have no complaints as you are asking for it by being so needlessly negative from the first minute.

But instead we keep giving ourselves too much work to do, we're shooting ourselves in the foot.
