Rotherham's squad have a total of 304 appearances for Peterborough in their respective careers and as such I fully expect them to hammer us in front of 25000 away fans.

McCann is either a genius and has made every team we've played in this league look garbage or he's gotten away with some bizarre formations and tactics. I'm going with the latter. there's only so many times you can get away with playing players out of position.

Not sure about Rotherham, at the start of the season i'd have tipped them as a dark horse for relegation but a 5-0 demolition of Southend makes me feel there maybe more to them than meets the eye.

I'm not convinced but I hope we win because otherwise SERNWA will be unbearable.

Not sure which ex posh players your talking about but Newell and Frecklington would walk into any team in this league but you can have Jon Taylor back he's shite.

We haven't won away in the league for 16 month so we are long over due an away win but it will be tough with the way Peterborough have started as well.

Line up should be unchanged give no injuries.

O'Donnell
Emmanuel, Ajayi, Ihiekwe, Mattock
Williams, Frecklington, Potter, Newell
Proctor, Moore

Not sure about 25,000 away fans but i should imagine well over 1k after yesterday result.

Rotherham's ex Posh players include Frecklington, Ball, Taylor, Ball, Newell and Clarke Harris. I don't want any of them back.

Rotherham fans are dull aren't they.

Fucking Frecklington and Newell would walk into any side in this league

Can't speak for everyone on here but Newell would have to do well to get on our bench and I doubt Frecklington would start many either.

Frecklington is 10x the player Dack and Whittingham are. It's only Raheem Sterling and Oxlade-Chamberlain keeping Newell out of the England squad don't you know...

Newell would easily get in your team you finished mid table last season and Newell is a top end league 1, lower championship player.

Frecklington was the main man behind our promotion the last time we we're in this league and never looked out of depth once in the championship.

You have Jake Forster-Caskey in your first team who wasn't good enough to get in our team last season ahead of Newell and Frecklington so your taking rubbish.

At least SERNWA knows he's a WUM. You actually believe what you're saying.

No logic behind what your saying at least i've gave a very good explanation why Newell and Frecklington would get in your team im still waiting for yours.

Your argument is that we finished mid-table therefore your players would walk into our team. The same players who were part of probably the worst side The Championship has ever seen.

There is not a chance that Newell would ever start ahead of Ricky Holmes or Mark Marshall. I said Frecklington wouldn't start many, he's not better than Kashi, he would arguably be ahead of Forster-Caskey but he fits into the way we play nicely.

The point is, Rotherham fans seem to talk these two players up as if they're proper top players but let's have it right, Championship clubs were hardly falling over themselves to sign either of them after your relegation.

Anyway, this is a matchday thread so crack on.

I've seen Mark Marshall a few times and he's definitely not as good as Newell so it would be Holmes on the right who i might add is a decent player with Newell on the left and Frecklington instead of Forster-Caskey in the middle so i was right afterall, end of chat.

Brentford tried to tap Newell up but he turned em down.

Newell's performances will do the talking for him this season. No coincidence that now he's fully fit and starting we win 5-0.

Last time we were in this division Frecklington was second only to Kevin MacDonald for best midfielder, since then his legs have gone.

That being said any team in this division would be mental to turn him down, still a top end league one player.

As for the game play like we did Saturday and leave the pre historic hoofball tactics played at Fleetwood behind and we'll have more than enough to win.

3-1 with Newell to score 2 and Williams the other.

Can see 1.5k+ going especially after Saturday.

Newell undoubtedly has natural talent but goes missing so so often and one hard tackle and hes done.

Frecklington is bang average nothing more to it.

Ball I always liked and could see there was a player there but didn't get much of a chance with us and no coincidence that he has improved vastly after leaving us.

Taylor can't even remember if he was any good, which probably says it all.

JCH barely played and had an attitude problem so can't really comment.

But all of this goes out the window when the curse of the former player strikes. Lets hope the same voodoo ritual performed on Saturday to stop that happening can be done again.

So the opposition just need to mark Newell out of the game and your team's a bit crap then?

With all due respect, why are you trying to tell me about players I've seen play more game for us? Bar Taylor.

Your opinion on Newell is based on a kid.

Your opinion on Frecklington is simply wrong and I'd argue it with your forever and a day.

Did I reply to you? I am stating my opinion to the whole forum not to some random nobody.

And just to add I have seen them play for Rotherham too my opinion still stands.

Don't think the whole forum would be viewing the Rotherham/Peterborough match thread mate.

Your opinion is based on bias and bitterness.

Also I'm banned from transfer rumours thread but a defender we loaned twice in recent seasons is going to sign permanently.

Guess away.

Pretty sure Dave Edwards too he ran L1, might be better than Jack Price you can have that one.

I'm totally confused how this Barcelona esque Rotherham team happened to be the worst Championship side in history :bl:
