Astonishingly, the geniuses at Sky have chosen another of our games. It's like a comedic reminder that for much of the rest of the Championship, we are the gift that keeps on giving, the late Christmas present for the defenders of Reading's glory.
Oh if only we could have an odd, sour-faced, musically untalented rich owner too. Oh wait.... Well a different one then.

Wolves line up
Error-Prone
Pedestrian--Clueless--Unaware--Inept
Ponderous--Obvious
Who?--Tiring--Graham
Vacant
Afobe

Subs:
Inexperienced
Unfit
Useless
Deluded
Tweeting
Overpaid
Onloanfromwiganffs

Prediction 1-3
A late present for Brian and his singing elves. (Are all Reading players short?)
As a clue to the state of affairs at our place, even when we were 4-1 down yesterday, our manager didn't believe it was worth bringing a fresh set of legs on. We used just one out of our three subs. Think about it....this means that only one of our (non-GK) subs was considered good enough by the manager to replace a tired person when the team was being whipped 4-1.

I wonder if our owner realises how much value is being knocked off the price of the house he is trying to sell in WV1? If you want it to sell for a good price, you make it look as good as possible with everything in working order; not broken down, in disarray with shit strewn across the carpets.

Heading up to this on my own judging by how few tickets we have sold. Less than 300 tickets apparantly. Doesn't help that there are no trains on Boxing day and it's on Sky Sports.

4-2-3-1-1, the new, sneaky 12 man formation sweeping the nation

24 hours later and I'm still trying to work out whether to remove Ponderous or Inept from the first team line-up now that you've gone and informed the whole world about our Plan B to reach the play-offs.

I think I'd get rid of vacant tbh, last couple of games it's like he's not even been there

Confident about Saturday's game then. I promise that i and the 2 mates i'm going with will sing that tune if we score. Got to defend the glory of Reading after all. Not sure what glory Reading fc or the town has though. The Royal Berks hospital, The Purple Turtle, Prospect Park or the numerous Polish shops down the Oxford road.

Yeah it is a very shiny train station now they have done it up and Crossrail is due in 2019. That will put house prices up. There is Reading festival as well.

Closely followed by Clapham Junction station. Gone from Wolves v Reading to discussing train stations. Should probably move this over to a transport forum because even a thread started by Hbk is probably more interesting to people than this.

We somehow won that 1-0 yet a fairer result would have been 1-6. Our defence was at it's usual worst today, and was covered up by the fact that Reading had an off day in front of goal.

Would love us to sign Oliver Norwood.

Missed all the footy today due to travelling around, saw we had won but had also seen everyone on the Wolves forum and my twitter feed saying Jackett needs to go and that we were horrendous, and also received a text from a Reading mate that said "I can't believe we lost to you shit orange c***'.

Another illustrious day in our history from the sounds of it.

Ended up watching most of this whilst doing family Xmas stuff. Not gonna lie, whilst the chance to watch football was welcome, this wasn't a classic. Though Wolves fought hard, Reading a shade unlucky but Wolves always looking for a break.

So frustrating. So much obvious talent in our side, yet let down by the likes of Chris Gunter who feel it's easier to take a dive than to actually contribute something worthwhile.

No idea what the fucking goalkeeper was doing for the goal.

Dave Beasent should spend some time teaching Bond how to command his area. The guy rarely comes off his line. Fairly decent performance overall though. Should give Ola John a start on Monday.

Said it last month but Vydra will be the biggest waste of money in our history.. That's 2 goals in 16 now.

Hope we can somehow get out of his loan in January and use the money we save to get in a striker that will suit this team and put the ball in the back of the net.

Also we're fucked if the rumours of Norwood being wanted by Swansea are true. Best player on the pitch yesterday and the only player in our side who has still been consistently good the past two months.

He's a striker who never shoots. Layoff after layoff. For whatever reason it just hasn't worked for him here. Would end the loan early if we can.

Quality player, still think Man Utd made a mistake letting him go as early as they did. He's improved a hell of a lot since he left school.

Thought he was average for us last season (most of our side was) but this season he has been our player of the season so far.

Can't say I agree with you and Madejski. Vydra is a cut above any other striking option we have. It's easy to say 'give him the service and he will score' - but he actually creates a lot for the team as well, which can often go missed.

Where would we be if we just gave up on players? Shane Long is a good example, granted he wasn't a loan player, but he finally got there.

I would agree on not giving up, if he was our player...

We're halfway through the season and are still waiting for Vydra to turn up. Another 20 or so games to go and he'll be back at Watford, and the £2.5m we spent on him will be gone too.

Vydra is basically doing the same job Simon Cox could have done for us (running around trying to make things happen with poor finishing) but costing a lot more.

Maybe he's a quality player in a team that doesn't work for him, but he needs to be more adaptable rather than just playing his game over and over again. Also begs the question why he was brought in (for so much money) if he doesn't suit the style or system we are playing. Imagine if we had spent that £2.5m on another loanee striker and a better goalkeeper.. we'd be in a far better position.

Don't get me wrong Vydra is obviously a decent player.Looked class at times for Watford. As Madejski says he doesn't seem to suit our style or system. Maybe McDermott can get the best out of him. Hopefully he will prove me wrong later and score a couple.
