Match postponed due to lack of interest :)
Seriously, it wasn't much of a game. The first 45 minutes were some of the direst hoofball I've ever seen. Stevenage were a bit better than us but it wasn't a lot to beat in all honesty. Second half things improved a bit for both teams and there was a bit more excitement - more about events on the pitch than quality of the football though. Two goals in the last 5 minutes (one each) made for a mildly dramatic finish. I suppose the game was summed up by the winning goal really;a soft, unnecessary free kick given away in the corner and someone poking it home from amongst a load of bodies.
The game could have gone either way. Sometimes it is said that neither team deserved to lose. This time, I question whether either team deserved to win. It was a typical game between two lower half teams who are short on skill, probably won't go down, but who don't have the quality to push for a play off place - and it showed.
