We need to get our season going, looking very flat at the moment.

Though it was rather late in the game, I took some positives from our second half performance. It was also pleasing to see us line up 442 and not the ridiculous 343 from Saturday last Saturday.

Will the gaffer revert to his favourite formation? Have Crawley got any decent wingers?

To be honest, I'll take a nil nil now!

To all the Crawley fans who taunted us, at the end of our first season with.
"We'll never play you again"

Lady karma can be such a cruel heartless cow.

1-0 or 2-0 away victory and the Dons to finally end their Broadfield hoodoo.

Never slated you but a lot of your fans are definitely up yourselves.
Balls; We have a winger. Gwion Edwards. Been in the Welsh squad. Made the bench but didn't play.
I don't know where we are to be honest. I watched a couple of pre season games and thought we would be lower to mid table but a decent away point at Oxford could mean we are better than that.
It will be good to see Dannie Bulman again. He was good enough to own our current midfield. Expect a big cheer for him.

Head says 1-2 crawley, Heart says 2-0 Wimbledon, so going with 1-1.

I agree with Balls of an Ox, we need to play 442, if you have 3 at the back you need 5 in the midfield. Just maybe we have too many strikers on the books ??? just maybe.

After Tuesday's performance at Cardiff it would be criminal if Ardley drops Nightingale.
If Nightingale does play then it would hint towards 4-4-2.

Not sure at all what we will serve up here. Im going for a 2 -2 draw. Scoring a goal would be nice as we have not managed it in the first 2 games.

3 less home fans on Saturday as the club bans the vice chair of the supporters club, the person who runs the main forum and another well known asker of awkward questions.
We are back to the "good times".
Whispers that Izale May play. Wait and see.

Utter garbage.

So you're not bitter then??

1st half with us playing 3-4-3 you overwhelmed us. We had players that looked totally fucking lost.
Credit to Ardley for changing his little love child to a traditional 4-4-2. After that we had total control of the game. We had players that looked like they were really enjoying the game.

Not bitter at all.I think I've called it right. We were garbage 2nd half.
I fail to see where me admitting this is making me sound bitter.
If I were to feel bitter after every defeat, then I would possibly be the most bitter person in England come what May.
I predict a season of struggle unless we can oust Dunford and the crony brigade.....get lost Dunford, you clueless muppet.

Was there a boycott? Under 1700 for a home crowd sounds very small.

Not so much you played garbage in the second half. We changed our formation from 3-4-3 to 4-4-2 to combat our defence being overrun.

Once we made the change there was only gonna be be team that would win, despite the referee giving you some very farcical decisions.

Want some cream with your sour grapes?

Not sure of a boycott as such but lots of old time fans went elsewhere.
You came, you saw, brought on Dannie and conquered.
Walton! Even the home fans think he is a red card waiting to happen. Petulant and not very good. Makes a good roller to keep the pitch flat though.
No qualms or excuses beyond the fact we are shit.

I can't speak for others but I won't be going to any more home games until the ban on the three concerned supporters is lifted.

We've had two years of crap. Two years of the board taking the loss out of us punters. Then, yesterday they ban 3 prominent long term fans.
The board have basically done nearly everything possible to get rid of fans. They've succeeded.
We are the new Rushden and Diamonds. I will still be going but this season or next we are back in the Conference and then it depends on how far we full.

Delighted to get our first points but can't help but feel that it was against a rudderless team that won't be seeing league football for that much longer

I was surprised at how comfortable Meades looked at left back - is that a role he has played before?

I'm still not convinced by Jake Reeves...

With the goals that Cambridge and Carlisle scored yesterday; we'd be suicidal to go 343 - let's hope that our 2nd half performance, which was ourltstanding, has convinced Ardley that we are a very good side when we line up 442!

I thought Reeves played well. Great ball to Francomb for the winner...

Definitely played a great ball to George to allow him to set up the winner. I'm just not convinced by him - he has a tendency to go missing in games and is a little bit light weight for my liking. Hope he settles down into a definitive role and is a great player for us.
