Back home now and TBH, I could have watched better football on my local park in relation to the first half, it was dreadful. We fell into their trap of hoofing it at every opportunity. In the 2nd half, we, eventually, played some half decent stuff and were the better side.
I got chatting to a Norwich fan who decided to watch our game today and he can't have been impressed although he did say we would be fine a league up.
The first 45 were totally forgettable but we were a bit better in the 2nd and deserved winners. Both Agard and Wilbs missed relatively easy chances from LF low crosses which they would normally convert.
In all honesty, on that performance, JET should start on Tuesday ahead of Agard who was poor today.
We didn't play very well in general, but particularly the first half. Crawley know how to utilise their own pitch and you can tell it's a difficult place to come to. So it was a big win and I believe we're the only team out of the top four to go there and get a win?
Freeman was impressive, especially his set-pieces. Nobody was outstanding but we got what we were aiming for. Happy days.
What game Saunders was watching, I don't know. 'Crawley were the better side and missed loads of chances'? Nah!
They like belting the ball 60 yards at every opportunity which played into Flinty's hands / head but we were clearly the classier side although the falling into 'hoofball' in the 1st half does worry me a bit.
I can see why Crawley do win a fair few at home but it's not the style of football I want to watch WTGR to them.
Redz bar is a very nice place BTW, Thatchers on draught made me a happy cidered.
Totally agree with Jordan re Freeman too, he's some player.
