Oh the apathy. We've been chasing our tails for two years now, nothing being said suggests more than that'll we'll tread water for another summer and struggle once more next season. Losing Grant is also going to be as big a blow as losing the likes of Powell, Westy and Murphy.

We need two or three good quality, experienced pros in (of the Grant ilk). We need to stop looking at, signing and relying on utter dross like Atkinson, Oliver, Molyneux, Audel. We need to stop relying on half the team being made up of loan players. We need to piss Inman off to free up some wages. We need the defence sorting as top priority, preferably with one or two experienced pros, but then is it personnel or coaching that is the problem? We need to either lock Grant away till August or replace him with like for like. We need to show some fucking foresight this summer. Every Crewe fan knew we had a bottom-half Conference side going into August last year and Davis did fuck all about it till October.

Midfield is the massive priority, we need an experienced CM if Grant leaves, then maybe a loanee to supplement the midfield, then an experienced CB and an LB (wouldn't mind Leigh back).

Genuinely think Colclough will leave because his Dad really doesn't like our club the Clayhead prick. Tootle and Grant are leaving, that's a cert. I'd like to see Guthrie leave too, Stewart and Oliver are probably going. Then all we need to do is try and flog Shearer off. I'd give Inman one more chance but everyone's patience towards him is of course, wearing thin. Can see us paying up his contract next January. I'd also transfer list Atkinson as he's a crock and a waste of a wage.

Where have you got it from that his dad doesn't like the club?

Personally don't understand why anyone would suggest getting rid of Inman, he's our best player, he just had shit teammates and manager.

Because he's been absolutely terrible since he signed permanently. There isn't even an argument to say he hasn't had the chances, he's had too many and in several positions too. Our best player would show some quality regardless of who is playing around him, a la Garratt, Grant and more recently Colclough. Inman hasn't shown any really since his loan spell. He definitely has the ability somewhere but after two years and 60 odd appearances, kinda bored of waiting for him to show it again

His Dad was very vocal on Facebook and highly critical of Davis and the clubs medical staff regarding his injury around a year ago and kept saying that Colclough was far too good to be playing for them. From what I've heard he's also been dropping hints to several people that Ryan's moving upon the conclusion of the season. It just wouldn't surprise me at all.
