Well, been an interesting first couple of days. Beat the Vale, Ikpeazu gets his loan extended, happy days.

But then Ikpeazu goes and that throws everything up in the air. Not sure what happens upfront selection wise in his place. Dalla Valle is the obvious choice to go upfront, but he apparently has a tight hamstring and won't train until Thursday, which isn't ideal. Haber may be a better option from a fitness point of view, Cooper is another possible guy to come in. Rest of the team picks itself.

As for MK, they are going well at the moment. But their away form is nowhere near as good as their home form, so that gives us a chance. We also seem to only bother turning up against them when we play them at our place, whilst we roll over and have our bellies tickled at their place. MK are yet to beat us at Gresty Road, so we have a chance of getting a positive result ahead of some massive fixtures in February. One thing is for sure, in the likes of Grigg, Alli, Bowditch and Powell, they have guys that if they turn up, could rip up apart.

I'll wait and see what sort of team we'll be fielding on Friday before deciding on a prediction. Many Dons fans heading up? 250? More? Less?

Talk of Haber coming back into the side is just pushing me over the edge with this Uche news. We'll be recalling Vadaine Oliver, lauding Turton as our saviour and calling it August next.

All on the LDV & Ajose partnership now which, on paper, could still be superb but depends on how Davis plays them without 'the big man'. LDV had Chuks when he was scoring goals, Ajose had Uche. Can the pair play together?

We'd probably lose this one convincingly with or without Uche anyway.

Watford's antics on this transfer deal is good news for us.Ikpeazu would have been a real handful for our centre-halfs.
Bit concerned about Ajose, he's the nippy striker that could give McFadzean and Kay a few concerns, a walking penalty.

Our record at Gresty Road is absymal, so whilst we need to win, I think it will be a draw. Hopefully we will avoid a third defeat in 3 years at GR.

Of course Thierry Audel may play????

Not expecting much from this one, MK should have enough quality to beat us. I think we should at least be competitive and make MK work for it and IF they have an off day maybe nick something.

Crewe 1-2 MK Dons (LDV, Ali, Bowditch) 4,320 (360 Franchise)

Don't put any money on Bowditch scoring. He's still getting over the injuries he had last season.

Real shame as he's been a decent player for us.

Be about 450 heading to this one I would have thought.

Staying above freezing tonight, so we should be fine for tomorrow. If I was an exile/MK Dons fan though, I'd keep an eye on things tomorrow morning though, just in case.

As for the team, bring in LDV for Uche and roll with the same team as the last few games. I'd definitely take a point out of this one. Think we'll lose though, 2-1 MK Dons. Ajose with our goal.

This win means I'll happily settle for a point next week.

Really? If we win tomorrow and grab a win at your place next week, we will be 5 points clear of you with a game in hand.

Surely you would want to win.

I think he was referring to just consolidating a place in the top 2. I'd be happy with a point at theirs too tbh

Full time, yet another high scoring win, 5 more goals and another clean sheet, the 16th(?) of the season. Crewe must hate us, 11-1 on aggregate this season :dk:

Shall we agree on a draw as long as Swindon lose?

Exactly that, don't get me wrong, I want the 3 points, but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world.
