Well, our season has taken another swing, this time back towards the negative. 4 games ago, we were playing good football, winning games and looking set for a mid table finish. Then everything went to pot and we are now winless in 4, only scoring 1 in that time(not scored in 352 minutes as it stands). This Scunthorpe game is huge, simply huge. Fail to win this with Preston and Bristol City(both away) to come next and we will almost certainly be back in the bottom 4.

Davis needs to stop thinking he has the squad or the tactical know how to tinker with his team and for it to still work. Go back to 5-3-2, go with a team of:

Rachubka
Turton, Ray, Tate, Davis, Leigh
Jones, Grant, Ness
Ajose, Haber

and leave it fooking alone Steve!

As for Scunthorpe, they are struggling to pull clear of the bottom 4 because they can't win games consistently enough, only 2 wins in their last 8 and no win in 4 like us. They are extremely tough to beat on their travels though, only 1 defeat in their last 11 league games. They have a number of tricky players in the likes of Madden, McSheffrey and Hopper, plus Adelakun and Van Veen from the bench.

If we play like we have done in our last 2 away games, we'll lose. If we play how we have done in our last 3 home games, we'll stand a good chance of getting something from the game. I'm going for a 1-1 draw, Ajose and Madden to score.

No doubt Robins will go 4-3-3 once again and we will struggle.

We really need a new striker this week but doubt it'll bloody happen.

Only prediction I'm making is IF we concede first we will not only go on to lose the game but it'll take the crowd 80 minutes to realise we actually have subs when Davis wakes up.

Cracking strike by Leigh and a massive 3 points. But in truth to fairly poor teams that will probably just about stay up.

Big win for us. First half was dire, Madden should have scored for Scunny and Ness/Ajose should have scored for us just before HT. 2nd half, got to thank Greg Leigh for his wonderful strike because without that, I didn't see either side scoring. Got a decent 2nd and but for an Ajose misplaced pass to Grant, it might have been 3. Annoys me that yet again, instead of hunting for more goals, we sit on the 2-0. Where was the danger in leaving 1 up top late on?

We needed to get that cushion back given our next 2 games. Good to know that barring every result going against us in the next 2 weeks, we'll be out of the bottom 4 come the Oldham home game. Expecting nothing from these next 2, anything we do get would be a huge bonus.

We've had a total of 53 shots in the last three games and scored 3, our last three opponents have had 28 shots combined and scored 5.
