A police investigation into the chanting incident on Saturday has been opened. As we share the same police as Wycombe I’m interested to see if the investigation encompasses all clubs within TVP’s area that have sung that song in the last or just this one incident.

We had some Herbert’s giving it large against Wigan. It seemed that a couple of middle aged blokes were directing a bunch teenagers. I think the club gave banning orders of three years plus to about 15 of those identified.

It's getting worse, as well as the two little pricks that ran on the pitch at our place and our other misdemeanours in prevoius weeks, there was a Leicester fan ran on the pitch at Forest and landed a haymaker on one of the Forest players. (there's a video on Twitter)

There is the well publicised event at Morecambe on Saturday.

Also the game between Burton and Wednesday was stopped because some object was thrown at the female assistant referee.
Aditionally she was subjected to misogynistic chants, an announcement was made over the tannoy to ask people to refrain.

We are on the way back to fences the way it's going.

I know it was one of your fans but I was so hoping one of the Accrington players caught a clean right hook on the little prick when he sprinted off. One pushed him in the face when he was caught. Don’t think I could have resisted planting him.

Totally agree but the trouble is the player would likely get done for assault while the little prick gets away with a banning order.

Their behaviour was shocking all game. About 70-80 in the home end and celebrated when scoring and winding up the home end. Took too long to get them ejected.
We have played them many times at the Pirelli and it’s always been lively but Saturday it was verging on nasty. Felt a right edge leaving the ground with lots of pissed up acting up with their mates, shouting at scarfers and those with kids. Real grown up behaviour.
After the game a group marched down the middle of the road stopping cars and those drivers that complained got plenty of verbal.one got a mirror kicked off.
Didn’t hear the abuse of the official but it was clear where it came from.
In all, a day to forget in honesty.

I can never understand why home fans get tickets and pass them on to away fans.
They should not be able to get them through the club unless they have local addresses so clearly someone is passing them on.

We play them at Hillsborough on Sunday, I'm beggining to wish I hadn't bothered buying a ticket.
It's always bad getting back to the coaches but this year all the bad things are elevating.

Just been reading Tykesmad and there was trouble before and after their game at Huddersfield.

I think there is a general degradation of society in general - I see it in peoples driving. The behaviour out in the shops and online. Everyone is polarised on opinions and it’s permeated into peoples attitudes making those more angry and confrontational. Part of this is football. And you are seeing some of this siege mentality.
Part of it also is drugs. It’s rife everywhere.

Limiting crowds makes no difference. There is trouble down the pyramid - sometimes with crowds of 300. I’ve seen it at Lichfield my local team when pissed up bored youths fancy a different game for a laugh. Especially when it’s a local team - it becomes territorial.
As I’ve said - football is a reflection of society so it’s to be expected given the behaviour of people outside of football.

Last time we went on the coach there was no safe passage to the coach because Wednesday fans from the North stand had somehow gotten in the car park and were in the way.
The police sorted it but we were 20 minutes between exiting the ground and being able to get on the coach.

Not that is really any of your business how I travel to football matches lol, but I'll explain, it's £8 return door to door so my tight Yorkshire instinct is to accept a good deal when I see it, plus we use the same coaches to all the away games.

Sad to see a bottle being thrown at Ogbene today from the home fans in the North stand.
There was other stuff, probably coins which the linesman went on to the pitch to pick up.
These idiots are going to hurt their own supporters lobbing stuff down from further up the stand.
It's usually kids and older folk that sit at the front, it's got to stop, turn them in to the stewards you surely know if someone next to you is throwing stuff.

Totally disagree, Having worked in Westminster with and for MPs of several different flavours, I actually believe that the vast majority are decent, hard working people who have the interests of constituency and citizens core of their motivation. Yes they probably have a higher ego than most of us, but that does not make them bad, self-serving people. There are indeed a number who are indeed out for themselves, but actually the vast majority are actually driven by positive reasons. I could make a partisan point that the dodgy ones tend to come from one party, but that is not a cast iron rule.

I always thought our fans wouldn't say boo to goose and the club was really family orientaded. I don't like it that we have been publicly rebuked but I'm sure there are some of our fans who will revell in it.

Sadly I don't expect this will be the last incident.

We played Newport away a good 5/6 years ago on a Tuesday Night. Was speaking to James Collins’ brother (old West Ham cb) who was working in the away end. He said the worst trouble he’s ever seen at Newport was when MK Dons played there a few weeks before. Said there was about 60/70 teens who were there just to cause havoc. Smashing up the toilets etc and it was only a league cup game.
