We've done well this season against teams wearing Amber/Yellow. 1-0 Crawley.
3700 to witness it.
Many other "Crawley fans for a Day"?

I predict a hefty 2.4 million loss and no other Crawley fans for a day.

First half it was as good as I've seen from us all season. You could have had ten in the second.
Bradley as a left back didn't work. Four goals came from his side although not all his fault.
Hylton for Oxford was excellent.
I'm a bit despondent after that first half performance turned into that. At times I hate football.

Gosh. My first visit to Crawley for any reason at all. What a game for an Oxford fan.

I thought the first half was mostly an even affair, save for a 5-10 minute spell when our team absolutely fell to pieces. Crawley had a corner that we scrambled out with the kind of defensive effort that would embarrass most six year olds. Another corner and another hilarious, yet sadly unsuccessful, impression of defending followed straight after. A small shout out for the Mountain from Crawley who stood on the near post at corners, for doing the cheekiest thing I've ever seen on a football pitch - pulling our defenders ear right in front of the away fans for absolutely no reason other than to get a reaction from the player/supporters.

Crawley were a team of giants who closed us down and hit it forward quickly and held their own until the 46th minute when they realised that they had nothing left to play for, that Oxford did, and that they were a bit tired. They proceeded to do everything they could to play into our hands, pushing up and inviting O'Dowda/Hylton to run 60 yards without even seeing a glimpse of a red shirt. I thought your keeper was pretty poor, but the volume of chances we had meant that he was bound to save a fair share.

For Oxford, definitely very positive to see us come back from the Wembley defeat and do that without Wright, Skarz, Roofe or Lundstram. Hylton was immense, as was O'Dowda. Two players who I think should be on the pitch for us as much as possible. Our goal difference is becoming an extra cushion in the five team mini league. Absolutely top day for us.

Oxford fans, what's the situation with Danny Hylton? We're in talks with him and had representatives at the game yesterday.

Oxford fans, what's the situation with Danny Hylton? We're in talks with him and had representatives at the game yesterday.

The club tried to flog him last summer but there were no suitors albeit this was not made public. He's not an Appleton sort of player however to his credit through sheer determination, grit and goals he has been unplayable and undroppable. He has definitely far surpassed MA's expectations and whilst i am a fan personally, I can see him not being offered a contract at the end of the current campaign particularly if we are promoted. I can see Hylton being released and a young Prem loanee/striker with something to prove being drafted in for next season.

Despite this, I would be very surprised if he has been told he can find another club at this time particularly when considering we still have something to play for. Players cannot talk to other clubs at this stage without the permission of their contracted club so whilst plausible he is being watched, I would hazard a guess no talks would take place until our season has played out.

His agent is in talks with us though. I've always rated him and would love to see him join is in the summer.

Says who? The rumour is doing the rounds but you say it as if it's a fact. And if you're a footballer and your agent isn't talking to clubs 2 and a half months before your contact ends then you probably want a new agent.

He might get let go, but I think he'll stay, he's a good striker at this level, bordering on very good, and when he's on form like he is now he's great to have in your side.

He's a racist who you shouldn't really want anywhere near your club

He's really popular with fellow players, management and fans, i'm obviously not condoning what he said/did, but it seems out of character and he got punished for it, probably time to move on.

Plus there's loads of players who have done the same thing/a lot worse who have been allowed to carry on playing.

Oh, and he's class and would walk into your side with 2 broken legs

Think he would be walking into our side with 2 broken legs, especially after his first meeting with Akinde.

Who'd also be keeping him out of the team, too.

You wouldn't want him near your club, but happily accept James Pearson? You might want to think that one through.

James Pearson, the bloke who appeared in a drunken video doing nothing more than be naked? Yeah it's not great and pretty embarrassing, but he was far away from the worst in that video.

It's not like hes actually racially abused anyone, like Hylton.

I'm sure Hylton's agent is speaking to a few clubs - he's out of contract in a matter of weeks and we aren't doing anything until the summer. I don't think that's a reflection on Hylton, more so players like Buchel who'll be an important part of the team for the next five games but id expect to be released at the end of the season.

Personally I think he deserves a new contract whichever league we're in. The idea that he wouldn't get in to Barnet's team is pretty laughable, but it's been put forward by the same person that can't digest that saying something racist doesn't necessarily make someone a racist.

Whether he signs for us is a different matter but just stating what I know.

Nice one, personal attacks. Pearson and Hylton cannot in any way be compared.

I always thought a player could negotiate with other clubs in the last 6 months of contract anyway.

6 months if it's a club from abroad and 1 month if it's in the same country I think.

At least, that's what Football Manager tells me!
