Won't happen as he's got 4 years left on his 5 year contract. Personally i'm not bothered if he goes as a new manager can't prefer the same awful tactics as Ainsworth,we could even start playing decent football on the ground instead of hoofing it in hope.

This is going one of two ways. Either we're going to win and it'll be 'written in the stars' as it's three years to the day since Still's last home victory with us..or....

Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Wycombe (Pierre, 77).

Didn't realise Ian Culverhouse was with D&R now, he was our assistant manager under Paul Lambert around 8 years ago now, won't do him any good from a team insight perspective though as we probably only have 1 player who was still in the side then.

Little quality on show and definitely feels more like a 0-0 but oh well, I'll take it.

Good to see Hayes back in the goals.

Hope we misbehave in the 2nd half to get the 3 points,i'm not there watching so i don't care how we put a stop to our awful run of defeats.

Fuck me we scored 2 goals and get 3 points! :bravo:Goals from Paul Hayes and Paris Cowan-Hall but credit to Allsop on loan from Bournemouth who pulled off an outstanding save on 90 minutes or it would have been only a point :)

Well you got your wish, particularly pathetic bit of injury-feigning from new lad in goal.

Apparently we even now have an ironic chant, "we know what we are...we know what we aaaaaare, timewasting bastards, we know what we are".

Whilst we certainly hardly outclassed D&R, they look chronically short of quality.

I understand why Still brought off their best player, Jones, in the second half when they were a goal down and down to 10 men - in favour of pure hoofball to a giant, but it didn't work in their favour.

That was one of the hoofiest games I've seen for ages though, from both sides. Dire.

I really want to say on here how much I hate Wycombe and their incessant cheating but your fans on here seem just as annoyed as the rest of us which is good to see.

Awful game of football, hardly any quality. All three goals could have been avoided easily.

We hate it mate but alas it's not down to the fans but the management,it's the main reason i'm not that bothered if Ainsworth leaves for another club.
