Far too important a game for a flippant thread title, as a terrible away record comes up against an abysmal home record.

Yeovil have looked almost competent in our last couple of games, so I have no doubt we'll revert to type tomorrow and hand Daggers their first home win of the season through a shinned o.g.

Rather guttingly Trevor Kettle has been picked for this game, but I'm sure he'll be delighted to hear there's going to be a good away turnout (sold just under 600) coming to watch him.

Expect this one to finish late as Kettle overruns half time by spending too long combing his Donald Trump wig to look pretty for the away fans.

Now or never for the Daggers. Don't think they can stay up if they lose this one.

Big Game. We'll probably keep a 1-0 lead for the majority of the game, and then concede two 98th minute goals.

I've been enjoying our performances recently

So I assume we will fall flat on our face like the Hartlepool game, 2-0 daggers

Excellent result for Yeovil, quality traveling support as well. Ward and Sokolik put in a great shift.

I've said before that one of Dagenham's performances earlier in the season was the worst I could remember seeing in the Football League. That just topped it.

Great win for us, and thanking Luton for their very late winner against York as well!

Colchester United showed last season that you can never say never, but I think it's pretty close to being never for Dagenham. Just looking through that team today there's some things I just don't really understand, obviously I don't see Dagenham that much and the lads on here will have more of an informed opinion, but:

- Hyam in for Dikamona, Hyam looks absolutely powder puff whereas I've always quite liked Dikamona when I've seen him. Surprised he can't get into the team, especially with three at the back.

- Widdowson for Hemmings, I'm not exactly a Hemmings fan, but I thought at wing back Widdowson looked completely lost, didn't really contribute offensively and was caught out defensively.

- Richards, I know he has a CV mainly at a higher level but last season he was pretty wank for Cheltenham I believe, today is the only time I've seen him this season and bar a few crosses I thought he was absolute garbage. Didn't support players enough, didn't position well, lacked intelligence in his movement, everything he tried was one big aimless hoof (not that he was the only one). Was genuinely surprised that Jones or Hemmings didn't come out in the second half, although when Jones came on he didn't exactly have any impact and surely Boucaud is a better option at cm?

- Hawkins, for a tall lad he was pretty poor in the air and didn't really have any redeeming qualities. I'm not a Doidge fan but I thought he would have been a better option. Although to be fair Dagenham created absolutely nothing for the strikers, although there were a few balls into the box that just weren't attacked in a positive manner.

Dagenham were direction-less in their play, seemed more of a collection of individuals than a coherent team. They lacked any sort of real quality and I honestly think with the squad they have they'd be bottom half in the National League, I really do. Need a massive clear out in the summer, sit down and start again. From the team that started today I think only Passley and Labadie could perhaps get into a number of other starting line ups in this division, beyond that maybe Hoyte and Widdowson as squad players.

As for Yeovil, they did what they needed. I think they looked lacking in some quality, but they ground out a professional performance, committed, put bodies on the line, sort of things you want to see in a relegation scrap. Dominated the opening stages, Dagenham changed tactics accordingly and it became fairly even. Obviously if Yeovil keep grinding out points they'll stay up (#MichaelOwenAnalysis) and best of luck to them. Think it will go down to the wire for 23rd.

Labadie was the only one who showed any quality against us.

If you can see the odd team selections when you don't even watch us full time, then it says it all.

A poor, poor game, seemed after a bright first 15 minutes we got dragged into playing Dagenham's game, but a vital win no matter how ugly. Can't help but feel time's up for Daggers, a shame as their fans seemed a good bunch, but they aren't going to pick up many more points playing like that.

It really is a shame, I wouldn't wish relegation on anyone in this league but it seems like a real fker for a club with limited resources that did it the right way and grafted up from non league, and even reached the third tier on a shoestring.

I think that was a "must not lose" game for D&R though. I hope they turn it round but I'm not sure where the impetus will come from now that "new" manager syndrome doesn't really seem to have got them anywhere.

I've only seen them once this term at theirs, but I didn't see the quality or togetherness you would hope for from a club battling for their lives.
