Should win this, but a few eyes may be on Tuesday's replay with MK. Collins will probably start instead of Richards instead of alongside, as Collins is cup tied for the game on Tuesday and I think Rico would benefit from a rest. Game we should be taking three points from if we have ambitions of winning the league.

2-1 Town for me.

For 7/8 games every time I predicted that we won. I stopped predicting it after we lost before Christmas, then we've won every league game since. So until we lose, I won't predict it again.

I know dagenhams curse against us was broken earlier this season. But that was when we were having a bit of a nightmare.

Won every game at dagenham and never conceded a goal. Memorable moments down there for sure, Toni silva scoring in a 1-0 win was massive, and of course that ivan toney game.

Anyway 3-1 to us as we go top of the league.

Another trip to Dagenham pour moi. Fancy a 1-1 draw with Northampton on top. Obileye will score from an early corner, Adams will get an 89th minute equaliser. There will still be Burnett Out pieces of paper.

We're reinvigorated under master tactician John Still so I can only see one outcome...

0-1 with an 89th minute header from a corner.

If the daggers are ever going to break their curse against us it's today. We have been awful first half and they have missed several clear chances.
If we are going to go long we need to go 442 and get Rico on as well.

Dagenham should be out of sight. Look better in every department so far, although Northampton have shown signs of life at the end of the half.

Ricky Holmes changed the game dynamics. Northampton looked woeful at the back, but Dagenham's finishing was so bad. Really don't rate Chambers or Doidge.

We were excellent but that was a typical result befitting of a team at the top and bottom.

Chambers and Doidge are both limited in certain aspects but they both also have attributes that we really need at the moment. Most importantly, they seem to have struck up a partnership which could prove invaluable in the next few months. Chambers has a knack for getting in good positions and Doidge is an absolute nightmare to play against. They both are limited footballers in different ways but their goal return in the last month has been decent as a pair.

We made one mistake and that was not putting a CM on from the 60th minute onwards as the 3 in the middle were shattered. Boucaud hasn't played much football lately, Muldoon is new to this and Labadie looked leggy after a recent minor injury. We started to lose the midfield battle and Still didn't react to it which was disappointing. Northampton sensed this and like any team at the top full of confidence does, seized upon it and punished us.

Still, good signs for the run in.

Really sounded like Daggers should have been out of sight by half time. I felt if we got to half time level then we had a good chance, considering the momentum and confidence we seem to be playing with despite not playing the best of football. Good luck for the rest of the season, if you can start converting more of your chances I'm sure you'll be fine.

We did not deserve to win that. We were terrible first half. Daggers hassled us and looked well up for the battle. We didn't play any football at all really, o toole and Byrom couldn't get into the game.

At least we improved second half and what a goal from that man ricky Holmes. He really is the difference maker for us.

Sign of a good team to win while playing crap. Fancy daggers to stay up also.

First half we were second to the ball all over the pitch, the team just looked so tired. We should have been losing by half time but after Dagenham scored we got a shot in the arm and really took the game to them. The fans were up and behind the team, and to be honest I was expecting to score. Still can't believe Pompey let Holmes go, he's unreal and Still must hate him!

I'm sure we tried to sign Holmes from Chelmsford. Could be wrong though. Cracking little player.

I have no idea how Holmes has never played at a higher level. Been nothing short of sensational for us.

How are Northampton doing so well this season compared to last season? What has changed?

Some good additions in the summer. Things seem to have clicked. I've got to be honest, in a weird way I think the off the field problems helped, it brought an initial siege mentality and it brought everyone together, I've never seen everything about the club as united as it is now.

So how do you reckon you'd fare in L1 if you got promoted?

Current side? I'd say mid table. Worth remembering we've brought in lots of players from L1. The only concern for me would be our defence, get away with it a bit at this level but a step up and you're up against better strikers etc.

If we go up, that's a big if too as there's a long way to go, it will be down to the summer dealings as to how we do in L1. Probably the biggest bit of business we could do is to hold onto our keeper.

Maybe his injury record stopped him. Good to see that he's been playing so well for your lot.

Why did we not deserve to win it ? Yes the Daggers were much better than us in the first half but we were much better than them in the second, we took our chances and they didn't.

Just seen the highlights and of course you've won it with a goal like that. I've honestly lost count of the amount of absolute wonder strike goal of the season contenders I've seen over the past 5 years at Victoria Road. It's ridiculous the amount of sides that do that to us.

Still, same areas that need improvement from our point of view, set-pieces.
