Getting close to last chance saloon for Daggers and this one should be a classic. The worst home side against the worst away side in the league.

I expect us to play for another 0-0 to make it two goals scored in six games. This will definitely be the case if no striker is signed in the next 48 hours.

But surely with Akinde fit we will have more attacking threat.
Any ideas how we might line up? I'm confused as to who is available for selection.
Our record at Victoria Road against D & R has been dreadful, a 0-0 draw might be seen as a moral victory.

Stack, Hoyte, Yiadom, Dembele, Togwell and Gash are out. Vilhete and Stevens have been sent to Coventry.

Stephens in goal and Johnson LB. RB will be Sesay or Pearson. CB will be 2 of Nelson, Sesay, N'Gala and Taylor.
Hackett and Gambin on wings. Midfield will be 2-3 of Champion, Randall and Weston. Strikers Akinde and possibly Batt.

Line-up will be 8-1-1

I can imagine this will possibly be one of the worst games of all time. Dare I say Batt will make the difference?

No. No I wont.

There's been a few of these this season for us - the Morecambe, Mansfield and Carlisle matches at home and the Newport FA Cup match which I didn't go to. These were all eclipsed by the match at Stevenage. So this could be Stevenage x Mansfield in its quality.

If we lose this, we're down.

God, seeing all those matches listed like that has brought back so many repressed memories. Absolutely godawful.

I'd like to request Wimbledon away be added to that list as well.

We've quite literally never lost to Barnet at Viccy Road in a competitive match. If that run breaks Saturday, accompanied by Barnet's pretty horrendous away record, I don't see any way back.

We're in February. This is the game we need to break our home duct.

Allen has confirmed Batt will partner Akinde. :eyes:

Also Togwell is back which is a big boost.

Nice to finally win at D & R, it could have been by more than 2.
I'm looking forward to seeing Luke's goal again on TV.

Is that the end of D&R's 11 season spell in the FL?

Playing a 6 foot 6 striker and no wingers to cross the ball to him is pretty special. Even by our standards
