1 nil daggers half time. How they are winning is a mystery. We have been dominant all half except for their early goal. Still we are one striker shirt which has been story of season since Gibbs went.
Daggers were very clinical and deserved it in the end on that second half showing of how to sit in and play on the break. We should have been out of sight by half Time. We are still short up front for me. Have never replaced Tubbs
First half, 4 minutes aside, we were 2nd best and the 4-4-2 wasn't working. Burnett's decision to take off a striker and play with a wider front 3 worked a treat and we were much better 2nd half. How Wimbledon didn't score once or twice though is mystery.
Keep your mitts off Curo Exeter. He's quietly winding down his career in the South East.
Didn't go today, so can't possibly comment on the game. Were we really as bad as the 4-0 score line suggests.
Well, at least the scoreline justified my non attendance. And I enjoyed my afternoon. ice cold ciders and a BBQ.
Oh by the way. When I said comfortable away win, you did all read between the lines and see I meant 'home' win.
What a bloody lovely result that was. Jamie Cureton probably up there was one of our best ever signings, certainly for goals return in keeping us up if nothing else. Cousins save was also brilliant, just one of those days for Wimbledon in the end.
Jamie C. is unbelievably good. When we took him on the first time people were complaining that Tisdale only ever signed crocked carthorse journeymen having scored a grand total of zero for Shrewsbury.
He then went and got 20 in his first season and probably should have had 25.
Then agent Curo opted to take a paycheck from Orient for a season scoring just 1 before coming back to the beloved City and bagging 21 for us. The boy is a legend. And he loves us.
