There's no doubt that he'll be offered a new deal. Question is only whether he chooses to accept it or not. I'm surprisingly optimistic that he will. One of his main considerations in joining us originally is that we're more local to his home for spending time with his kids/family etc, so he'd only really move to another fairly local club if he was to go at the end of the season. And realistically, if he's settled with us now, scoring goals and has an opportunity to do things like coaching badges with us in the future, which I imagine he will be, then I see no reason why he'd leave.

Good news! I was just interested as Cheltenham let him go last year despite him scoring a fair few goals, for the reason I'd guess at them wanting to go in another direction as he is getting on a bit, so was just curious if Dagenham were likely to do the same. Glad to hear that he's probably going to prolong his career for at least another season.
