Yes, it's exactly the same. Oldham were right in the middle of a promotion race at the time, or were they? No, they had nothing to play for. We won too.

For what it's worth, I can see why Cooper did it and it does seem a few were carrying 'knocks' so I held little hope of Swindon doing us any favours in any case.

I have no doubt though, that if we had done the same at Preston today, there would be Frannie murders on this forum and some serious whining from Cooper, Power and the Wiltshire press.

Double bounce would be ace, of the 4 who came up last year you were realistically the only one with squad in place to have any chance to make a fist of it this season. we lost Hogan, Scunny had lost Winnall to Barnsley, Fleetwood are Fleetwood and their million that was BIG in L2 is small in L1. We lost Done in Jan, you lost Doyle yet 6th and 7th with 1 game to go says more about our squads than these individuals.
