This is good news in my opinion, we’ve had 1 point from the last 5 games and he’d run out of ideas. It’s odd as I think the Ipswich loss is when the fans turned on him for the first time and days later he’s gone!

The last time a manager left us mid way through a season we won the title whilst his side (Dean Saunders at Wolves) went down... we won’t be champions this time but it could lead to us going up through the play offs.
Feeling very hopeful.

That's not true, the last time someone left mid-season was Dean Saunders to Wolves - he went down with them we went up. We also had a very different ownership structure then.

McCann probably left because he didn't want to rebuild and Hull had actually had two very good seasons under Adkins, they certainly weren't a basket case on the pitch. With Moore the fans were turning on him and Wednesday are a big club who will have a big budget in League One next season.

McCann was appointed at Hull because of Adkins, he basically said I’m stepping down give him the job.
There isn’t a manager out there at the moment I’d give the job to, the players know and respect Andy so it’s the best thing the board could have done. I can only think the Owls have given Darren a massive wage rise to go there as he certainly was backed above and beyond by the board.

Stand corrected, I thought he'd been appointed during the season. Was it during pre-season then? It felt like him leaving left you in the lurch a bit.
