We're not really at our best right now, yet Bristol City seem to have picked up a little. Good chance they could do what they did to Boro.

Derby 0-1 Bristol City

Just beaten Huddersfield and gone above them, the only destination is the play-offs now.

0-9.

3-0. And let's not have a meltdown when it happens.

Whilst two draws vs Wednesday and Brighton aren't bad results I think it's imperative we get back to winning ways here and not make it 3 without a win.

It'll be a tough game, City have picked up and can obviously mix it against the better teams this season so we'll have to be at our best. Frankie Fielding should get a decent reception.

I'll take any win, 1-0/2-1/6-0.

Despite a good result yesterday, it should be a home win. Derby have quality all over the pitch and will have too much for us I should imagine!

That said, City have been pretty unpredictable this season so who knows what could happen.

I'd snap your hand off for a draw!

I agree with GG. It should be a home win but you never know. Flinty and Baker (if he starts) should fancy the aerial stuff against Richard Keogh. As RK loves the City so much, I anticipate at least 1 own goal.
3-1. :conf:
Excellent thread title BTW Rammy. :2thumb:

Think I Saw on some site that apparently Derby pay over 30% of their fans to go to watch them for free to make up for loads of their older fans who now follow Forest

Derbys away following has always been poor considering their home attendances so it does make sense.

Can't guarantee true but my mate apparently used to get a tenner if he went to a derby game and 50 quid if he took 5 mates, all with free tickets. Apparently they stopped it for one week a few years ago and only got about 4,000 at home. He is a forest fan but was desperate for the cash

Please don't take OTIB as a reflection of City fans. It's an absolute shite fest where fans look to belittle and criticise other fans. I do post on there occasionally but it's not a good forum for any decent discussion.
We're a good bunch normally, it's just that our forum is horrible.

Site full of morons run by a bunch of absolute tossers.

Like CU said, please don't let that woeful site paint your image of us as a club. It's quite possibly the worst football forum on the Internet.

Read it a bit in the build-up to our game earlier in the season, didn't come across too badly! Slightly arrogant, but that was justified in the situation of the two clubs.

Do you post on there out of interest?

It IS rather nice Rammy. You can get to see it in person if you come down to the game at the new Gate. Aren't you lucky? :fish:

I wouldn't want to spoil my memory of Ashton Gate from before they ruined it.

We loved it before the development with all its' quirkyness but accept it was needed and it has been done to a very high standard. This ain't no Cardiff cheapo build, it's top quality and we are becoming very proud of the new Gate.
Like you, I'm a traditionalist but it's pretty damn good, even for an old bugger like me. Would be better if we could stand but that's another discussion altogether.

Rammy has promised to take pictures from the away end in April when they play us.

Will be interesting to get a different perspective and a new angle, and the exterior will be nearing on done by then!

I await eagerly
Just get someone in the Atyeo to take them (or am I being WHOOSHED yet again)? :emb:

I don't think OTIB is that bad, yeah there's some (a lot of) knobheads but what do you expect with 13,500 members!

dcfcfans is just the same, full of gobshite kids. Far better Rams forums out there such as popside. I'd even go as far as to say that Derbymad is far superior to dcfcfans.

If OTIB was full of immature kids spouting bollox, I could live with that. Young uns are young uns after all. But the worst posters tend to be the ones who should be old enough to know better, yet love point scoring and being condescending, patronising and just generally unpleasant to fellow City fans. Cynic and Robbored are two of the worst.

There are some very decent posters though... Harry The Cat, Havanatopia, Big Tone and Mad Cyril are all decent.

As for the game... 1-0 win or 0-6 defeat. No in between!

I'm starting to think this one might be one of those gubbings we had occasionally under GJ. I hope I am wrong, obviously.

Hmmm, I don't mind dcfcfans. Admittedly I "lurk" more than I post nowadays but there's still plenty of decent posters on there. When it's the busiest dcfc forum on the net you will always get a fair share of idiots. Not just kids either, there's plenty of 50+ rams fans on there who spout absolute drivel!
